Lacking Motivation?
Are you waiting until you "feel inspired" to work on your book? The truth? Motivation comes and goes. Systems and habits are what get books published. Instead of asking yourself: ❌ "Do I feel like writing today?" Ask yourself: ✅ "What's one small step I can take today?" That could be: - Writing 300 words. - Outlining one chapter. - Researching a keyword. - Designing one page. - Editing for just 15 minutes. - Creating your cover. - Publishing one chapter draft. Small actions may not feel like much in the moment, but they compound over time. A 300-word writing session every day becomes over 100,000 words in a year. That's multiple books. I also recommend setting a recurring appointment with yourself. Put "Book Time" on your calendar just like you would a meeting with your boss. When it's scheduled, you're far more likely to protect that time. Remember: - Progress beats perfection. - Consistency beats intensity. - Finished books change lives. Unfinished manuscripts don't. 💬 What's one thing you're going to do today to move your book forward?

Would love to work on my own manuscript.
Submitted first coloring book
I’m on day two of the 72 hour review! Hoping to hear that I submitted correctly the first time around. So excited!
Submitted first coloring book
@Krista Brea I actually created about 20 activities books already for quarter 4 holidays. I only submitted one so I learn what edits I need to make, then the others should be smoother.

🎉 It's My Son's 5th Birthday!
I started my day with the biggest smile because today is my son's 5th birthday! 🥳🎂 I had to work today, but thankfully I was able to work from home so I could make his morning a little extra special. Before he left for the day, I surprised him with a few birthday presents, and seeing his face light up was the best part of my morning. Moments like these remind me how fast they're growing up. ❤️ I have one small birthday request. If you have a moment, could you leave Elijah a "Happy Birthday!" in the comments or drop your favorite birthday GIF? 🎉🎈 I'm going to show him all of the birthday wishes when he gets home later today, and I know it would absolutely make his day. Thank you for helping make his 5th birthday even more special! 💙🎁

🖍️A $10 Coloring Book Making $10k 🤑
It's easy to assume you need a complicated book idea to make great money on Amazon. Sometimes, that's simply not true. Take a look at Comfy Patterns by Coco Wyo. This is a simple $9.99 coloring book, yet it's estimated to generate close to $10,000 per month. It also has 3,500+ reviews, which tells you it has been consistently selling for a long time. (I use Publisher Rocket to look up book earnings; screenshot below this is just one format) So what's driving those results? ✅ It's highly niche. Instead of creating just another generic coloring book, Coco Wyo carved out a recognizable style with bold, cozy, easy-to-color patterns that appeal to a specific audience. ✅ The author has built a catalog. This wasn't a one-book success story. Coco Wyo has published a large collection of coloring books over time. Every new release creates another opportunity for readers to discover the rest of the catalog. ✅ The winners get more attention. While some of the author's books have fewer than 50 reviews, it's likely the strongest performers receive the most marketing, promotion, and ongoing investment. That's exactly what many successful publishers do—they double down on what's already working. 👉The lesson for authors One successful book can lift your entire publishing business. Every book you publish becomes another door for readers to discover your other titles. That's why building a series or a cohesive catalog can be so powerful. And here's the biggest takeaway... You never know which book will become your "breadwinner." The idea sitting in your notebook today could be the one that changes everything—but you'll never know if you don't publish it. ⭐⭐⭐P.S. I've heard enough requests from this community that I've officially decided to create a Coloring Book Publishing Training next month. If you've been interested in entering this niche, stay tuned—I'll be sharing the strategies, tools, and workflow that can help you get started.
