Hello I am Cynthia Stroud 72 yr disabled, retired grandmother and legal guardian of 17 yr old early high school graduate. His Dreams of entering trade school for HVAC /electrician are wavering at this point. He is registered at Lincoln-Tech East point Atlanta and classes start Jan 7. However, housing isn't covered ($800/mo); we live in Conyers, ga a 37 mile (59min to 1.2hr) transit by car. To qualify for housing we must live 50+ miles. His class schedule is 6:30p - 10:30p. I Cannot drive at night because of cataracts. He just got his license so him driving is not an option; and financially not feasible to insure him as his driving skills are not up to par (inexperienced). I am totally lost as to where or how to began with applying for grants scholarships for housing. I really need assistance with the processes. Any help, advisement would be a Godsent.
