I hired my 13-year-old daughter as a sole proprietor last year, using ADP payroll. Her W-2 came back with withheld Medicare and social security taxes along with withheld state (New York) taxes. Am I correct that she is FICA exempt as a child of owner ? Just wanted to confirm before I get ADP to correct withholdings.

I just spoke with my bank and learned that I cannot transfer my two properties from personal name to LLC unless I refinance them. I do plan to refinance eventually but not now. Is there any workaround for legal protection?
