Judy, I'm so glad you asked... Providence was born from a simple question: What if learning could be different? Belle and I worked together in a school, and every day we saw the same thing. Students were disengaged, staff were overwhelmed, and everyone felt trapped in a system they had little power to change. We realised we couldn't change the entire system, but we could change what we did. We didn't want to replicate school as we knew it. We wanted to reimagine it. We set out to create the kind of place we would have loved as children—a place that values both learning and the learner. A place where curiosity is encouraged, hands on experiences matter, and every child is supported in the way they learn best. A place that celebrates different learning styles instead of trying to fit everyone into the same mould. That's how Providence was born and here we are 3+ years later
