Can’t verify my identity with TransUnion & Experian after an address change — Equifax works fine. What should I do?
Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Here’s my situation: 1. In April, I updated my mailing address with Capital One. In May, I successfully updated my address on Equifax as well. 2. My TransUnion score through SoFi is still updating normally as of June. 3. When I tried to pull my TransUnion and Experian reports through AnnualCreditReport.com, I got a message saying my identity could not be verified. 4. Yesterday, I contacted TransUnion’s online chat support. After I submitted my information, the agent told me they still couldn’t verify my identity. At this point, I can no longer access my Experian or TransUnion information by entering my details, even though Equifax still works without any issue. I’ve also tried calling TransUnion, but I can never get through to a live agent. Has anyone dealt with something like this? What are my options for getting my identity re-verified with TU and EX? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @Jiu Wen , you can send a mail to their address by mentioning your old and new address, with proof of your new address. You can also try to call many times until you get them For some requests you have to be at your new address for at least 6 months
Equifax vs FICO: The Truth
Most people building US credit start with Equifax or Credit Karma. It's free, it's easy, and it feels like you're tracking your progress. Here's the problem: that number you're looking at is probably not the one your lender sees. Equifax/Credit Karma = VantageScore Credit Karma shows your VantageScore 3.0 or 4.0 from Equifax. Completely free, yes. But over 95% of lenders don't use it. And the kicker: your VantageScore typically runs 20 to 60 points higher than your actual FICO score. That gap is the difference between an approval and a denial. What Lenders Actually Pull FICO scores. Whether you're applying for a credit card, a car loan, or a mortgage, the lender pulls your FICO. Not VantageScore. Not Credit Karma. Not the score Equifax shows you. For Cloud Residents building credit with an ITIN, this hits harder. You're working with a thinner file, fewer accounts, shorter history and no proper channels to monitor your FICO. How to See Your Real Scores Platforms like myFICO let you view real scores. These are the same numbers lenders pull when you apply. The Play Use Credit Karma or Equifax as a baseline monitor. It's fine for watching report changes, new accounts, and inquiries Before you apply for anything, check your actual FICO. Know the real number, not the inflated one The gap between your VantageScore and FICO tells you exactly where you stand The difference might surprise you. See you in comments, Ain - Cloud Resident

ITIN Credit Score, All 3 Bureaus for $1
A few months back I shared a quick guide on getting your credit score and full file from all 3 bureaus using just an ITIN. Here is the revamped version. Two ways to trigger the Equifax trial and get all 3 bureau scores in one place. Quick truth first: only Equifax accepts ITIN for online score access. Experian and TransUnion block ITINs on their own platforms. The cleanest workaround is to go through Equifax, because their paid plan unlocks scores and reports from all 3 bureaus in one dashboard. ⭐️ Step 1: Sign up with Equifax (free) - Go to equifax.com or download the Equifax app - Create a free account - Your free Equifax score shows up right away ⭐️ Step 2: Trigger the Equifax Complete Premier trial This is the part that gives you scores and full credit reports from all 3 bureaus inside one Equifax dashboard. Equifax Complete Premier costs around $20 a month, but there are two ways to grab the trial. Method 1: $4.95 trial in the app - Right after signup, the app will push you toward the paid plan - The default trial offer is around $4.95 for 30 days - Same access, same score, same reports, just a higher trial price - Good if you want it done in one tap and do not want to wait for an email Method 2: $1 trial via email - After you create your free account, watch your email inbox - Equifax will send you a $1 trial offer for the same Premier plan, usually within a week or two - Click the link in that email, not the in-app offer - You get the full 30-day access for $1 instead of $4.95 or $19.99 - Same plan, same features, just cheaper ⭐️ Step 3: Use it, cancel before day 30, repeat - Inside the dashboard, you can now see your scores and full reports - All 3 in one place (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) - Cancel the trial right away so this wont get renewed at full price - After the trial ends, repeat $1 trial - You can repeat this infinite times ⭐️ Why this matters for Cloud Residents Lenders pull different bureaus. Chase leans Experian, Capital One do all Three, lots of cards and loans pull TransUnion. If you only check one, you are missing a third of the picture.

@Brucde Cornelius Thank you very much for sharing this. it's working perfectly for the 3 bureaus. This is a very good solution for the Vantage score. Now we have to look for a tool that can provide FICO score for the 3 bureaus
Got The Navy FCU Account!
Thank you very much for the Boss@Ain - Cloud Resident Ain's help! I've always wanted to open a Fcu, especially a Navy one! I learned the method in the Classroom course. I submitted the online application last Friday and received an email today saying it was approved! Although i have nearly 3 years of credit history, the access to join the Navy Fcu is so difficult for an NRA guy!I had no idea how to join Navy FCU until Ain's great help, I went to the classroom section and then to non-US resident banks. Finally, I got the Navy account. Thank you so much to him again!!!

Got A New Checking of PenFed with ITIN👌🏻
I applied for a PenFed online Checking(membership also needs a Saving) on March 7th ,it opened free checking and membership on Mar 12th. The next day after application, I received an email asking me to upload three documents: proof of address, ITIN, and passport. I uploaded all the documents,n have been waiting for their response. On Mar 12th,I received the final email saying that it was fully opened. Then, I added a $5 DD to activate their membership saving account. Once the deduction is successful, it can be used.
