I'm All In
Hey everyone! I'm David, originally from Nigeria, now living in the United States (relocated about 5 months ago). I'm currently waiting on my work permit and Green Card, so this season of my life is really about building skills and setting myself up for what's next. I run my own clothing brand, and I'm here to learn everything I can about AI automation, faceless content, and how to actually turn these skills into income. My goal is to land my first client and start building real, practical experience not just theory. My "why" is simple: freedom and provision. I want to build something of my own that doesn't depend on someone else's permission to work, and I want the skills to eventually merge AI with sustainability creating tools that make a real, measurable impact on the world, not just on a spreadsheet. I'm all in, ready to learn, show up consistently, and support others doing the same. Excited to connect and grow with this community 🙌

Lovely mindset to have. You are not sat there doing nothing. Which niche are you considering for your ai business?

I'm All In
Hi, I'm Kristie. I'm from Sydney, Australia. I'm a disabled person who is really in this community because I want to create tools to make life easier for people with disability. I have the knowledge, but I can't really get the tools out to the people that need them. While many of you may be here for financial freedom, that would be amazing, but that's not my end goal. The end goal is to learn as much as possible and to get these tools out to the people that need it most. I believe that technology is a level playing field for people with disability. There are a lot of barriers out there, but I will approach each one and try to figure out a solution. If AI helps me do that, then that is a win for me. It's a huge, lofty end goal, but I'm here to try and at least tackle one barrier at a time.

Welcome 🙏🏿
Honestly.
Hey everyone, It's been a few months since I've posted here. During that time, I've been doing a lot of thinking about where I actually want my career to go. I got into the AI space because of how exciting everything was and, honestly, because of all the hype. But over the last few months, I've realized something about myself: I don't get the same excitement from AI as I do from writing software. Whenever I'm coding, I completely lose track of time. Solving problems, building applications, and writing clean code genuinely makes me happy. It's one of the few things that gives me that feeling of wanting to keep going for hours. I think I reached a point where I felt overwhelmed trying to keep up with how fast AI is moving. Instead of enjoying the process, I started feeling like I was constantly behind, and eventually I stepped away to focus more on school. Now I'm wondering if this is a sign that I should lean into software engineering instead of trying to force myself into AI. For those of you who've been in tech longer: - Have you ever realized you were pursuing something because of the hype rather than genuine interest? - If you discovered you enjoyed software engineering more than AI, would you fully commit to it or keep one foot in both worlds? - Would you pivot your personal brand, including LinkedIn, or would you keep AI as part of your profile? I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thanks in advance! (Though am still a cadet and it's my major in the university)

I think everything we do starts with some hype though. Like parents hyping school or some YouTube hyping a particular job type. Someone did it before us and then that convinced us to try. Some people might say they were born to be Software Engineers but I doubt it very much. I don’t really have an answer for you but I wonder if what you’re feeling is the same disappointment we all feel when we realise that what we were sold were lies. Also, I wonder how you would do software engineering in the future without AI. I’m genuinely curious.

Welcome @Muhammad Safiullah
I'M ALL IN!
Greeting everyone, my name is Patrick. I'm from Vilnius, Lithuania. I've joined this community a couple months ago, but never got to spending time here and getting to know people. I've already built myself a website www.infloid.com. I've already started cold outreach on Linkedin. But inside I feel lost, that's why I came back to this community, to re-watch all of them content Liam has provided us! But what's more important and deeper inside my heart is to actually to get to know some people around here, start conversations, discussions and share knowledge and path vision. I've vibe coded some apps, one is for my E-Commerce store, the second is a completely new venture. I've also already built automations (full marketing Agent teams) for both businesses as well as automations for my agency website. But haven't reached any traction regarding responses on Linkedin yet, it was only my first week.
