I've recently met an investor who presented me with an opportunity involving a commercial-to-residential conversion project. The proposal sounds interesting, but I have to admit I'm feeling a bit sceptical. The part I struggle to understand is why someone with many years of experience in property investing would want to partner with someone who is relatively new to the industry. Perhaps I'm overthinking it, but it raises some questions for me. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Does this sound like something that can genuinely happen, or would you see it as a potential red flag?
