@Shelly Huntington I actually use 5 different ai apps. I mainly use Chat GPT and pay for that. I use that to generate images. Then I use grok (before video generations became a premium feature) to generate my images into video. I would have chat GPT actually write me a prompt for a 6 or 10 second clip, based on what I wanted to see. Video generations agent always perfect. Some would take 20+ regenerations to get what I wanted and rewriting the prompt of I noticed ai creating a consistent issue. I also use Claude. This one is great for scanning documents. I use it to assist me in editing my manuscript and it's better and remembering details on long documents. Gemeni and Perplexity are ok. I use them as a second opinion to what I'm writing or I need a better image that chat cannot create. It's a lot but I've become accustomed to how they all work for what I need. Lastly, After I had all the video clips that I needed, I just used a simple video editor app on my phone and downloaded some royalty-free music. For my book, I wrote it myself but instead of paying a professional editor, I use chat GPT to review what I have wrote and enhance it to polish and clean it up so it reads better. It saves on cost and it's been more of a collaborator for me.

@Chris White I just dropped it and I am happy to share what I have been working on. And as for the copyright concerns I had earlier, I didn’t run into any issues.

1) Finishing editing my promotional trailers before my April 3rd deadline. 2) Read at least 3 of my chapters from my proof-copy and read how it flows and catch major errors the reader might catch. 3) Creating another sequence of bookplates to be used for book signings.

Hi! I really relate to what you’re feeling here. I’m in a similar position as an upcoming author, and I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that not everyone is going to like my work—and that’s okay. Everything is subjective. What’s helped me is thinking in terms of feedback as a whole rather than individual opinions. Getting your product into the hands of a small group of testers can give you a better sense of how it’s being received overall. If most people respond positively, that’s a strong sign to move forward. If not, it just means you’ve got helpful insight on what to refine, not that you’ve failed. One or two negative pieces of feedback can feel heavy, but they don’t define your product. The fact that you’ve created something for sensitive skin already shows care and purpose, and there are definitely people out there who will benefit from it. I’m still working through that same fear myself. Just because I understand it doesn’t mean I’ve fully overcome it, but I’m learning not to let it stop me from taking the next step, and I hope you do too.
