Hello everyone! I'm currently in the process of starting my mobile IV Therapy business. As a paramedic in Florida, it seems impossible to own and operate a mobile IV operation because of the language in the law. Now my biggest question is, how are companies hiring Paramedics and contracting Paramedics to deliver their IV's as 1099 workers? If they can perform the skills needed as an employee, why not as the owner/operator? I have done a lot of research on partnering with my physician as an MSO model, and I'm not against that. I would just prefer to own and operate the business myself if it is feasible thing. Thanks!
