Team, Sat through the Humana MarketPoint sessions.. here's what actually matters for you heading into AEP. I'm skipping the corporate stuff and keeping the parts that change how we sell, get paid and stay compliant. Compliance changes that hit us - The SOA 48-hour rule is gone. No more waiting 48 hours after an SOA to meet. - The 12-hour separation between educational and marketing events is gone too. - The TPMO disclaimer now has to be read before you start discussing benefits on a sales call, not just within the first minute. Move it up front. - Record retention drops from 10 years to 6.. except SOAs and enrollments, hang on to those. - STARs dropped "complaints about the plan" as a measure. Comp and quality.. this is the big one - Humana is tying admin fees, and eventually comp dollars, to quality and not just volume. They're rewarding clean partners the same way the government rewards them. - CTMs are the number they're watching. It's their leading indicator of a bad sales presentation. Keep CTMs at zero.. that's the whole game now. - Field and call centers are getting measured on the same footing. - They rolled out new call-review tech (IntelligenceX) and are reviewing recordings. Sell clean every time. (Eventually this will require all telesales calls to be transmitted through SFTP or API to IntelligenceX, but they’re focusing on legitimate call centers first.. I assume this will not be for anyone in our distribution before AEP). Plans and benefits for AEP - Service area reductions in some underperforming markets, around 600k members affected. Check your book for anyone impacted. ZERO CROSSWALKS! - Dental coinsurance is aligning with the industry on a lot of non-SNP plans. - SSBCI now includes a Thrive Mobile cell phone benefit, but the HRA has to be completed to unlock it. - GiveBack plans.. make sure it's actually the right fit before you write it. They want us educating members, not just selling the giveback. - Simplified portfolio, five main plans to know:
