How Do You Stay Motivated When Saving Feels Slow?
Saving can feel like such a slow process sometimes, especially when you’re aiming for a big goal. It’s so easy to get discouraged when progress feels small, but sticking with it really pays off. One thing that helps me is breaking my big goal into smaller steps. Every little milestone feels like a win and keeps me going. I also try to focus on the “why”—whether it’s for security, a dream, or just peace of mind, it’s what keeps me motivated to keep saving. How do you stay motivated when saving feels slow? Share your tips! Let’s inspire each other to keep moving forward, no matter how small the steps.

How I Saved $500 by Cooking Instead of Ordering Takeout
Okay, like, real talk—takeout was my ultimate weakness. It’s just so easy to hit that order button, right? But when I saw how much those ‘little’ meals were costing me, when I did the 14 day challenge,. I was like, ‘Oh no, this has to stop!’ So, I decided to try cooking at home, and guess what? I saved $500! 😱💸 I started with super simple meals—pasta, stir-fries, even ramen (the fancy kind). It was actually fun experimenting, and I didn’t have to spend hours in the kitchen. Plus, I felt so proud of myself every time I made something tasty and didn’t waste money on delivery fees. Now I’m obsessed with finding budget-friendly recipes and saving even more cash. Honestly, it feels so good to know I’m closer to my savings goals AND eating meals that I made myself. What’s your fave easy dish to make at home? Let’s share some inspo! 👩‍🍳✨ special shoutout to @Chris Wilson our mentor and game master for creating the 14 day Financial Challenge and helped me realize my expenses.

This is really amazing, I know this wasn't easy , but you did it 😃👏👏👏 I take an inspiration from you to also explore myself in the kitchen and try simple recipes that I would love & enjoy.
Success Spotlight🌟
Meet @Alicia Dane 🎉 Alicia joined Skool as someone who loved takeouts and often gave in to impulse buys. But after completing our 14-Day Financial Literacy Challenge, she’s made some incredible progress! Here’s what she achieved: - Learned how to cook simple, basic meals 🍳, which saved her a ton of money on take-outs. - Started practicing resisting unnecessary purchases and focusing on saving instead. - Managed to save $500—a huge step toward financial freedom! 💰 While Alicia admits she’s still working on mastering her self-control and reducing impulse buys completely, she’s definitely closer to achieving that goal every day. Let’s give her a big round of applause for her efforts! 👏 Alicia’s story shows that small, consistent changes can lead to amazing results over time. 👉 How has the 14-Day Challenge helped you so far? Share your wins—big or small—in the comments! 🚀

Are You Reaching Your Full Potential?
We all have days where we slack off a bit or get too comfortable with where we are. But what if I told you, you’re capable of more than you think? For example, I’m currently juggling an Airbnb project, a full-time job, and running the IRL community on Skool. It’s a lot, but it’s also shown me how much we can really handle when we push ourselves. Imagine what could happen if you pushed just a little harder, tried that one thing you’ve been avoiding, or went after a goal you thought was out of reach. Growth happens when we step out of our comfort zone, so let’s talk about how you can challenge yourself this week. What’s one thing you can do today to push your limits and surprise yourself? Let’s share and motivate each other!

@Chris Wilson I'm sleeping better, I'm waking up earlier than my alarm, I feel energetic for the whole day, I'm feeling more happier, calm , optimistic. I'm able to go deep within myself to discover myself ie what's blocking & limiting me, my friends have also noticed I'm more happier than I used to be. I take problems & challenges in a completely different way now.

@Chris Wilson yes indeed, it's an amazing progress, I'm feeling very proud of myself to get where I am today 💪😃, The biggest change/habit has been waking up early to have my me time, focusing on exercises/affirmations/listening to productive content to keep fueling my positivity to keep having a learning mindset to remove the counter negative effects of overthinking about what's not going right in my life. This has helped me to gain clarity of what I require in my life and I somehow do get what I really needed & it takes me forward in my own journey.

@Chris Wilson my current favourite book is related to being focused on taking actions, to be better at time management & better disciplined to take the action I need to , to be the person I desire to be, I'm reading Deep work by Cal Newport. As for YouTuber, I always watch Bianca's YouTube videos, and I love watching Karishma Ahuja's videos & podcasts, love watching Bk Shivani's YouTube videos, and also love listening to audio books related to the topics I'm focusing on.
