Have you ever thought of all the wasted expenses you have had over the years, the things that dont seem to matter to you at the time. Well for me I was cleaning out my fridge and freezer and filled up a whole inside bin of out of date product. This is not the first time, as I carried the bin downstairs to the big bin, I thought what a waste, all the years this has happened would amount to thousands of dollars just thrown in the bin. I don't think I am alone, I think I am pretty good, and kind of pride myself at times for using things before their date, but this was a quick reminder that I am not. Here is a thought I am going to play with. I am going to try and empty my freezer and fridge, pantry before buying anything else (except for some fresh fruit and veges) and see what this does to my spending.
