I love deep analysis, though it can become a bit too analytical….. getting away from the practical application….

@Chris Reid excellent Sir
Legitimacy & Experience Combined with Tenure
General Choi was such a visionary man! it’s profound how Taekwon-Do in all of its essence can be overshadowed by the egomaniac and their desire to be recognized without putting in the work ethic. Food for thought; a 3rd Dan is the equivalent to a medical doctorate in knowledge and time when a practitioner follows General Choi’s teachings and body of work. Scientific Principles, Anatomy, Biology, and Philosophy! All we have to do is immerse ourselves in Taekwon-Do study and practice under a quality Instructor! 🤔🤯
Webinar Topic: Food Choices & Eating Timing
Tomorrow’s Topic will be food choices and optimal eating times for performance and training. I hope everyone is able to join me for a discussion on food and training. See everyone soon!

Historic Moments!
Our journey in Taekwon-Do can lead us to many unforgettable moments! In this photo, taken in 2024, we were honoured to sit down with Madame Choi( General Choi’s Widow) and her son, President Choi. I have some profound memories over the last decade plus have the honour of visiting with the Mother Taekwon-Do in her home. Master Demers, Master Reid and myself have the privilege of being the only ITF members to visit her and spend time listening to history and intimate details of the founders journey and experiences while developing Taekwon-Do……. Mind blowing!

The development of discipline in the Dojang
What principles do Instructors and Teachers employ to create a good learning environment? Discipline is one of the many principles that separate those who are successful in its many degrees and those who always seem to have struggles and challenges. Though we all have challenges to some degree, our ability to deal with them is tied to our level of discipline, which is like a muscle that needs exercise. We will have a drastically more difficult life experience without the ability to be disciplined in our endeavours. This is the major determining factor is the Black Belt statistic; 1% of all who begun training Taekwon-Do will reach 1st Dan! I’m we all have experienced this phenomena, think back to all the students you trained with on your journey and how many quit for a variety of circumstances….🤔 DISCIPLINE MUST BE DEVELOPED! So it may be used when needed….
