🌍 Checking In from the South of Portugal
Hola Movers, Since tomorrow will be a travel day for me, I wanted to check in a little early this week. I've had a wonderful time here with family — plenty of beach walks, hikes, good food, and time to disconnect, recharge, and simply be present. One thing this trip reminded me of is how important it is to stay capable and prepared. Not just for training. But for life. Being able to walk for hours, explore new places, climb hills, get up and down from the ground, carry bags, play, and say "yes" to adventures without your body constantly holding you back is one of the biggest reasons we train. That's what training is really about. 👣 JUNE SESSIONS CHALLENGE If you haven't done it yet, please update your June Sessions Challenge with any sessions you've completed this week. 🏆 WINS OF THE WEEK I'd also love to hear about your wins. Big or small. A completed session.A new movement.More consistency.Less stiffness.A personal discovery. They all count and deserve to be recognized — both for yourself and for the community as a whole. 📅 LOOKING AHEAD Take a few minutes to plan your next week. Aim for 3 sessions if possible. And on those busy days when time is tight, remember that a few Barefoot Breaks are always better than doing nothing. 👋 NEW MEMBERS If you're new here, make sure you go through the Foundations Class inside the Classroom tab. The end of another month...
Hola Movers! 👋 We’re getting close to the end of September, so I’d love for everyone to update your session count in the September Sessions Challenge post. This way we can wrap up the month with all the final numbers. 💡 Remember, the goal is 12 sessions per month. We’re looking at both your individual progress and our total as a community. (I’d really love for everyone to join in—consistency is the key to results!) Looking ahead… would you like to participate in the October Challenge? This time, I’m also thinking of pairing people up as accountability partners for just one month. It’s a great way to stay consistent and to start getting to know more people in the community. For example, I could pair up @Brenna Aschbacher & @Michaela French —these two are very consistent so it will be a pretty strong team. 👉 Let me know in the comments if you’re in for October and what you think about the one-month partnership idea! Just letting you know I’m in a training this week 6-11am so will miss the lives

Share your discoveries, any “aha” moments, questions, or challenges you noticed during today’s release session. 👉 Remember — these short 7 sessions are not just training, they are also powerful assessments of your current situation. Today’s focus on the calves, hip flexors/quads, glutes, pecs, and lats can help you identify which areas are more sensitive and holding you back. 💬 After going through the session, drop your numbers (1–10, with 10 being extremely sensitive) for each muscle group on both the left and right sides. This will start painting a picture of where your body may need more attention. That’s very valuable information for your progress — and it can guide where to focus your energy moving forward! Looking forward to reading your insights 🙌

Found a way to do my PT exercises without hurting myself so badly and did a bunch of rocking and bird dog and planks
