Is anyone else feeling like clients expect you to know EVERY AI tool now? 😅
I had a call today and they kept mentioning tools I’ve never even heard of. Made me feel kinda behind tbh. How do you guys decide what’s actually worth learning vs just hype?

Yeah, it’s getting overwhelming 😅 I usually just stick to tools that clearly save time or directly help with client work, and ignore the rest unless I see repeated demand for them.
If you're using ChatGPT for content, feed it your client's past 5-10 posts first.
Then tell it to "match this voice exactly" before you ask it to write anything new. the difference in output quality is significant instead of generic content that sounds like everyone else you get something that actually sounds like your client. I do this as standard for every content client now, takes maybe 2 extra minutes at the start and saves way more than that in editing time after. the more examples you feed it the better it calibrates 5 posts is the minimum, 10 is the sweet spot. if your client has a newsletter or blog those work even better than social posts because the writing is usually more developed. one of those small process tweaks that makes everything downstream easier.

Such a smart workflow—those few extra minutes upfront really pay off.
okay tiny win but
I asked Claude to help me write my own service description and it came out WAY better than what i had before. sometimes you just need a second brain lol
Genuinely curious
How do you handle a client who keeps adding tasks outside your original scope without adjusting pay? do you bring it up directly or just quietly track it and revisit at contract renewal?

Definitely worth addressing early before it builds up
Okay random question… how do you guys actually organize your client tasks? 😅
Right now I’m just using Google Docs + WhatsApp messages and it’s already messy with just 1 client. Do I really need tools like Trello/Asana or is that overkill at the start?

Honestly, even something simple like Trello works great in the beginning because it’s super visual and easy to pick up, especially for solo workflows.
