Hi, glad to be here. I started keeping and breeding tropical fish in around 1965. My initial interest was Cichlids having got hooked after seeing and then keeping a male Jack Dempsey (Rocio octofasciata). I started The British Cichlid Association along with 5 other enthusiasts in late 1969 but it took until around 1971 to become established. I'm a honorary life member of the Association now but no longer take an active part in running it. I'm taking more of a back seat now and keep a few Corydoras (armoured catfish) species. I'll take a picture of one of my main tanks and add it here soon.

I have a few of the original type species, Corydoras aeneus trinidad (green cory), some orange cory's C.aeneus venezuelanus, I have a breeding group of C.davidsandsi, a large group of 9 or 10 C.sychr and a few odds and ends. I know that since the re-structuring of the genus some of these aren't Corydoras now but old habits die hard.
