You have quite the CV, Don, a very interesting background and path. The wisdom, music, and meditations you are sharing with us here are true gifts. Thank you for that. You add an incredible level of depth to your posts, which I find fascinating. That component seems to help me connect to the frequency or track even more deeply. I have not experienced that with other meditation apps or practitioners in the past, and it is truly enjoyable from academic/cerebral, and metaphysical standpoints. I experienced this track for the first time last night, and it was absolutely incredible. I drifted into deep thoughtlessness. I could feel the sub-bass tingling from my head to my toes, literally. When the 5ths hit, it was like a quick wave of those tingles from my toes up through my back, and then settling again when it resolved back to the dominant note, like an electric-stimulation roller coaster, or taking a car at speed over a small hill and having that sense in your stomach, which I love. There is nothing like sound imop. I've started down a rabbit hole (I always mean that in a positive way) on the 40Hz tone and deep sub-bass. i.e., Is it achieved through a bilateral beating pattern between left and right channels, vs a pure 40Hz tone. I look forward to spending more time learning about it in my studio this weekend. I've bookmarked the post to hit more of the jump links to the information. Thank you for having me. I am honored and blessed to be here with you, Don, and the community. 1. Your first experience with meditation: Many years ago, while I was at ASU. My roommate was big into meditation. He had what seemed like hundreds of books on the subject, he boiled and drank all sorts of crazy smelling herbs, and had every ocular and physical device you could imagine for self-care, physical wellness, and visual stimulation. I was intrigued and started down the rabbit hole of metaphysics. I remember our little apartment, 'Meridian Corners', sitting in the living room with binaural music on, just trying to 'disconnect'. I had no idea what I was doing at that time. It's the same apartment we witnessed the 'Phoenix Lights' from—good old days. 2. What you're hoping to discover here: I want to put more time into meditation, silence, and breath work. I want to connect with like-minded people who share and circulate good energy. I want to continue moving from the knowing to the being and connect to signal. I want to open up to the infinite universal intelligence. 3. One word that describes how you feel today: Overwhelmed, but thankful. 🫀
