SSL/TLS certificate lifespans reduced to 47 days by 2029
The CA/Browser Forum has voted to gradually shorten the lifespan of SSL/TLS certificates from the current 398 days to just 47 days by March 2029, aiming to improve internet security by encouraging frequent certificate renewal and greater automation.
