I've jumped to the #3 spot for watercolor painting! 🤩🖌️🎨
I know Sam just turned on the new Discovery Search, but I never expected it would bring me from the 9th spot to the 3rd for my category (9th is the highest I've ever been before)!!! Usually, my students find me by searching watercolor or watercolor painting, and for now I am above the fold for those searches!!!!! What???? 😅 I am now at #287 in Discovery, which is the highest I've ever been. My Daily activity has gone up quite a bit this week with a challenge/live session I'm running. So I'm sure that's a big reason. Has anyone else seen some differences since the new changes in Skool search?

@Cathy Anderson Maybe you could make some of your key words super niche? That might be the key to connecting you with your perfect peeps...

Top 3? Yippee! That's super exciting! Having key words for people to find us just makes soooo much sense. Isn't it satisfying when you find 'your people'? And isn't it equally frustrating when you invest time searching for something and don't get anywhere? Now, anyone looking for the unique thing that we have to offer will be able to find us faster, connecting with us and others who share the same passion. That's a win-win all around! I was stalled near the 200s for ages in Discovery (Hobbies), but Brenda’s Built To Be Summit gave me some momentum, and I’ve been steadily climbing since (#160 at the moment). With 8 of my 11 keyword search terms, I'm showing up at #1.

Strategy Question
I know this will get different answers, but I am trying to make a decision. I run, for now, a Freemium Community. I am wondering if I should keep live Q and A calls for Premium Members and up only as an incentive to upgrade. Or should Free members also have calls? I go back and forth with this. All thoughts are appreciated.

This is one of my 'should I? shouldn't I?' issues too. I have found that live calls with as many people as possible are more fun than live calls with only a few (or even just 1 or 2). There's already going to be availability and time zone issues for people, so adding another hinderance (like it's only for paying members) decreases the show-up rate even more. I always record the calls, but if it was just a chat with 1 or 2 people, it sometimes doesn't feel 'replay worthy'... For my most recent call, I did an 'Ask me Anything' and invited questions in advance. that made for a better show-up rate and good recording. But also a more 'valuable' recording. So now I'm thinking I might do AMAs live, make the replay available for 24 hours (just to acknowledge and respect time zones), and then put it inside a Premium archive... So, in short, the actual lives for everyone (the more the merrier!), but replays as an incentive to upgrade.
How many people can you have live on Skool?
HI @Brenda Rigney or anyone who knows this... I'm organizing a panel discussion in my community and wondering how many people we can have live at once? I know that Streamyard allows 10 so I'll either choose Streamyard or do it natively on Skool. Thank you

Update from Skool Support (because I emailed to get the official story...): "For a webinar, there could be up to 6 people pinned at once, so "max 6 people on stage". But there isn't any limit for participant/audience members." @Anna Sabino @Brenda Rigney @Lindsay MacGregor @Addie Beall @Zokai Robinson @Pamela Krista

@Lindsay MacGregor And how does 10K in the audience sound? Can you imagine?
