⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ New Skool Feature: Community Reviews!
Skool rolled out a brand-new feature today that lets paying members leave reviews for the communities they belong to. 🎉 You can find it under Settings → Reviews. If @Brenda Rigney and Skool Scale Camp have helped you learn, grow, make connections, or build your community or business, please consider leaving a review and sharing a few words about your experience here. 💛 Reviews can help new people get a feel for the community before they join, so it’s another simple way to support SSC and help the right people find their way here. And apparently I was quick on the draw this morning because I got to leave SSC’s very first review! 🔥 Who’s next? ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

@Theresa Cifali So happy you're here!
I switched my community to paid. 🤑 What I’m learning!
So about a week ago, I went from a Freemium watercolor painting community to making my standard tier $7. I know one week is a short time, but what I’ve learned so far is interesting: 1. My healthy stream of free members is now at a standstill. But I did expect that. 2. Growth Boost picked me up and folks started seeing me in ads within hours of making my community paid. TY those of you who sent me messages about this! 🙏 3. There was some website, IG, YouTube, Pinterest, and post copy to change/shift to reflect the 7 day free trial rather than free entry to the group. 4. I have a brand new YouTube video on my channel that talks about my free group (maybe before I made the group paid) and I’ll probably have to hide it for a while… 5. I’m focusing the energy I was using to welcome new members, on free members who may not know what premium or VIP can do for them. Right now, paid seems harder because - Despite some major growth boost ads, no $7 sales yet. - I feel like I’m speaking to 4 separate groups now instead of 3, and there were some significant changes to make not only in my copy, but in my positioning. I know it’s only been a week, but I’m really missing Freemium. Especially after listening to @Brenda Rigney’s new YouTube video on why her free groups are making more than her paid ones. Thankfully, this was just an experiment and I can change it back to Freemium anytime. Brenda, or some of you with paid groups, maybe you have some tips? 😊 Should I it more time? Or call it quits?

@Christine Vabre You're welcome. Just re-reading my Comment, it says, "thanks for sharing your expense with us..." That was supposed to say "experience" 🤣 autocorrect... or maybe a Freudian slip? Either way, keep us posted!

@Brenda Rigney Great reply! Thank you for sharing this recorded feedback, not just for @Christine Vabre but for all of us. As much as we probably wish there was an easy answer that suited everyone, it's a reminder that we are all delightfully different! We just have to try, fail, assess, tweak, and try again. It's all very fascinating being on Skool at such an evolving time, and I'm grateful there's a Camp where we can go through it together!

Look at all my neighbours on Skool's Meta Ads
I'm wondering if that's a coincidence? Love seeing our communities all together in one space @Christine Vabre @Maureen Schlachter @Demetrice Odds @Adelina Rosa @Sarah Hankins Post your screen shot of your Skool Meta Ads... or biz bestie that you admire!!

@Kimberly Armatys Actually these screenshots were back in July. I haven't seen my ad recently.

@Kimberly Armatys Cool! Keep us posted on how it plays out for you…
Toggle on emails to members
I have yet to use the toggle on Skool to send a post to all my members… Just curious know what’s the best kind of post to be sending out? I think that our posts are not supposed to be too long, so is it just any short post that we think would be beneficial for them to learn? Are we inviting them to level up to VIP or premium?

@Susan Goodman This!
Mini Debrief and Shoutout to Brenda
Brenda, your Host Your Own Summit VIP 9 Week Project has been the just in time learning I did not know I needed. Not theory. Not someday. The exact thing I needed the week I needed it. I went back through your ads sessions and took notes like I was back in school. Then I went and ran the thing. Here is what came out of it. In July I ran my first ever bundle plus live showcase. I called it a validation test because that is what it was. Would my audience even want this? Would it actually help my membership? Could I do it at all? Y'all. I was SCARED. 👉 141 people showed up live across 7 sessions. 93 percent show rate. 👉 My first ad campaign ever brought in new members at $1.23 each. 👉 31 creators contributed, and they grew their own communities and email lists from it. The answer to all three questions was yes. So now I am taking every lesson from that weekend and the rest of this project and building my first full summit. Still learning. Still asking questions in the cohort. Still going. Thank you @Brenda Rigney . 💜

"...took notes like I was back in school" Oooh @Martine Brown I hear you on that! @Brenda Rigney always packs so much into her training, and writing it down makes it real! Your results are impressive, and even if they hadn't been, the big win was YOU DID IT! Congrats... here's to the next one!
