The thought of the “wicked going unpunished” has been hard for me to grapple with. Especially when it hits close to home. I have to wrestle with this, and my anger over it. Ultimately-I pray scripture, do some crying and yelling, pray scripture some more, and turn it over to Him.

Not even close to saying I have even ever come close to what Job went through, but Job 13:21 hits me. “Withdraw your hand far from me, and stop frightening me with your terrors.” My heart has felt something very similar to this in the past.

This reading starts with, "Mortals, born of woman, are of few days and full of trouble." Generally I am a positive person but sometimes...this is exactly the sentiment that's in my heart.
