When God Closes a Door You Keep Trying to Open
Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut…” Revelation 3:8 There are moments in healing where you already know in your spirit that God has closed a door, but your emotions are still trying to reopen it. This can feel confusing because your heart remembers what once felt familiar, even when your spirit is being led toward release. But not every closed door is rejection. Sometimes it is protection, redirection, and God preserving your peace. When God closes a door, it is not your responsibility to force it open again. Your responsibility is to surrender what is no longer aligned with your healing and trust that God is leading you toward something healthier. Letting go does not mean you didn’t care. It means you are choosing obedience, peace, and emotional freedom over attachment. Healing often begins the moment you stop fighting what God has already finished.
