I'm 56 years young and at the happiest I have ever been in my life. I went through some pretty challenging experiences and often felt that life was not worth living. However, now I am working in a role that I only ever dreamed of, working with people I never knew I would, and feeling the magic of new and amazing opportunities that unfold for me every day. Would I change anything? No. Because without the past, I would not be the woman I am today.

I've just become a Lead Manager at a Drug and Alcohol recovery drop in hub. So very rewarding.

I'm 56 and if I had to give a younger person some advice it would be to always believe in yourself and know that whatever is meant for you will never pass you by.
