📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - COMMUNITY RESET
Hi everyone! First, thank you for being part of The Speech Community. Whether you've been actively participating or quietly following along, I'm so grateful you're here. Over the past several months, I've learned a lot about what parents are looking for in this space. I've also realized that the most valuable part of this community isn't the resource library. It's the opportunity to connect, ask questions, share wins, and get practical support from both me and other parents who understand the journey. To help create a more active and engaged community, I'm going to be making a few changes over the coming weeks. As part of this transition, I'm doing a community reset. *If you'd like to remain a member of The Speech Community, please COMMENT "I'm in" below OR LIKE this post by June 19, 2026.* Current members who opt in will continue to have access to the community. Going forward, new members will join through a low-cost membership. I know everyone has different levels of involvement they want in a community, and my goal is to make this space sustainable, accessible, and genuinely helpful for the families who choose to be here. A small membership fee for new members will help keep the community intentional and encourage participation, while still keeping support affordable for families. I'll be sharing more details soon, but for now, COMMENT "I'm in" BELOW OR LIKE THIS POST BY JUNE 19, 2026 TO KEEP YOUR ACCESS. *Classroom members will automatically stay. Thank you for being here and for trusting me to be part of your family's communication journey.

I’m in!!
Welcome to The Speech Community - Start Here!
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here 🤍 I’m Sam, a speech-language pathologist with 10 years of experience, and a toddler mom. I created this space to help you feel more confident supporting your child’s communication in everyday life. Here’s how to get started: STEP 1: Introduce yourself Comment below with: – Your child’s age – Whether they’re using words yet (yes / not yet / a few) – One thing you’re concerned about I’ll reply and help point you in the right direction. STEP 2: Start simpleYou don’t need to do everything at once. Look through the posts (weekly challenges are often a good place to start) and start with ONE strategy you can try today. Small, consistent changes make the biggest difference. STEP 3: Use everyday routines You don’t need extra time or special materials. The best opportunities are already in your day: – Mealtime – Bath time – Play – Reading STEP 4: Ask questions + share winsThis is not a space to just scroll. Ask questions, share what you’re trying, and celebrate even small progress. FREE COMMUNITY Here you’ll get: – Tips and strategies – Short trainings – Support and guidance CLASSROOM MEMBERSHIP Inside the classroom, you’ll get: – Step-by-step courses (what to do + when) – Videos showing exactly how to use strategies – Routine-based guides (mealtime, bath, play, etc.) – Monthly live calls for support + Q&A If you’re feeling stuck or want a clear plan, that’s where to go deeper. Thanks for being here. 🤍 Sam Licensed SLP & Mom

I'm Tory. My son just turned 22 months the beginning of the month. We aren't quite saying the amount of words that are recommended to speak at his age, so we just began speech therapy through his preschool. He can definitely understand what I am saying. I'm convinced he just doesn't want to talk to me (lol). I feel as though once we open his vocabulary a bit more, we can transition to potty training. Anyways, I'm excited to be a part of a supportive group.
