Lips
Hi Slash, look, my client's mother (80 years old) had surgery on her upper lip for melanoma. Do you think it can be corrected with PMU?

I know I am late in responding to this, but do you tell your clients to get a prescription for Valtrex (generic acyclovir)? This is standard protocol for folks who are prone to cold sores. In my pre-appointment consult I ask if the individual is prone to cold sores. If the answer is yes, they need to get a prescription from their doc and they need to sign a waiver stating that they have either taken the medication, or they are aware of the potential for flare ups and are choosing to go forward with the treatment without the medication.
Losing mapping outline
Hi everyone, I have a big issue with losing my mapping outline during the numbing process. Even though I used the Surgery marker for outline, I got smudge marks after that, and my pencil outline is gone. I would like to hear your experience and your recommendation

I posted this somewhere else and don’t know if it was you or someone else, but here it is again just in case. I outline with white brow paste, then mark beginning points, end points and arch with surgical marker. After numbing, I scrape off the cream with the long edge of a cotton swab, then remove any excess within my mapping guide with the cotton end. I then solidify the map with a white gel pen. It all holds really well. Video show the process ( it’s sped way up. 😊)
What do y’all think?
This was my model and i just finished my powderbrows course. I’m just starting. And now want to try to manage my skills and practice on models. Any tips?

Nice job.🙂
Hello ~
I am just wondering how do you avoid smudging clients’ eyebrows shape and patterns after you put on the numb cream ? thank you :)

I put on the numbing cream very carefully and then carefully cover it with plastic wrap. When I remove it, I use the long edge of a cotton swab (the stick and not the swab itself) and I do one long sweep to scrape the cream off from bulb to tail. I then just clear off any excess within my mapping guide, and fine tune my outline with a white gel pen. I’ve attached a video.
