However, some details caught my attention concerning starting operations that some of you might overlook, so I decided to share them with you here: 1) Verifying our company's location. 2) Ensuring the carrier has service hours. 3) Checking the driver and the client. 4) Weather conditions are also important on the main route. 5) Complying with our transportation company's rules. 6) The importance of understanding the freight booking strategy in advance. And also some general notes: 1) The importance of the product/service offering you provide. 2) Understanding the customer avatar. 3) The importance of explaining your service to the company (showing the difference - the uniqueness). 4) Focusing on market needs. 5) Understanding company preferences. 6) Understanding the Department of Transportation (DOT) rules. 7) Determining the cargo weight according to the type of truck.
