9 contributions to University of Code
One thing I’ve learned with coding is that consuming tutorials feels productive until you realize you haven’t built anything all week 😅
Lately I’ve been keeping my learning stack pretty simple: github.com for the actual code, chatgpt.com when I need to understand something or get unstuck, and floment.ai to keep track of what I’m building and what I need to tackle next. The biggest difference has been treating every new concept as something I need to use in a project, not just something I need to understand. Right now I’m doing that with Redis and Laravel queues. How do you guys make sure you’re actually building while learning?

Having clean prebuilt dashboards solves a ton of initial friction when spinning up new SaaS ideas. When I start stitching components together, I keep my repo branches in GitHub and use project cards in Floment AI to track the remaining API hooks and backlog tasks. That separation keeps the build organized without letting UI work stall the launch.

Handling daily operational handoffs usually breaks down when information lives in too many disconnected places. I tend to pair shared documents with project cards and task tracking in Floment AI to keep daily priorities visible at a glance. Having clear central visibility makes async progress updates much smoother for everyone involved.
Having access to 50+ builds is awesome until your GitHub becomes a graveyard of projects you started on Tuesday and forgot by Friday 😭
I’ve started using github.com for the actual code and floment.ai to turn each build I’m serious about into a project with small tasks, bugs, and next steps. It sounds simple, but having a clear “what do I build next?” outside the code has helped me finish more instead of constantly jumping to something new. How many unfinished repos are you guys currently pretending don’t exist? 😂

Clean. Reusable. Ready to Launch.
My goal wasn't to make another dashboard for Dribbble. My goal was to build something I'd actually launch a SaaS with. Clean. Reusable. Production-ready. That's a very different standard.

Shipping real software requires a totally different mindset than polishing visual mockups that never go live. I pair Tailwind CSS for modular components with Floment project cards to manage every single milestone leading up to release. Sharing regular progress updates on the public feed also creates healthy accountability to keep shipping daily code. What is the primary milestone you are tackling before your next drop?
