One thing that's helped me with goals is making them way smaller than "get fitter" or "be more consistent."
I’ll use chatgpt.com to break a bigger goal into something realistic, then floment.ai to turn that into actual tasks I can check off and keep track of. So instead of "improve my 10K," it becomes this week's runs, recovery, nutrition habits, and one thing I want to improve. Sounds simple, but seeing the next few actions is way less overwhelming than constantly thinking about the end goal. How do you guys track your training goals, app, notes, spreadsheet, or just follow the plan?

An idea of personal motivation.
What’s the best piece of advice or motivational quote that keeps you going on tough days?

On tough days consistency definitely feels way harder to maintain when energy is low. I usually rely on keeping my daily tasks very small and visual in Floment so I can just check off one tiny thing instead of staring at a massive to do list. Getting that small win usually breaks the slump.
Achievements
When you have set your goals and then achieved them, how do you celebrate such milestones in your fitness journey and how do you know what to set next?

Celebrating the smaller milestones is essential for staying locked in over the long haul. I usually outline the next phase using Floment project cards alongside Apple Notes for quick milestone reflections. Breaking goals down into actionable daily tasks and sharing progress updates with the group keeps that forward drive alive.
My simple tool stack for running an online coaching business
Something I’ve noticed with online coaching is that there are a lot more moving parts than just writing a workout plan. You’re managing clients, training goals, habits, nutrition, educational resources, check-ins, content, and all the little follow-ups that happen between sessions. Having everything scattered across different apps can get messy pretty quickly. The stack I’ve been experimenting with: - ChatGPT / Claude – Brainstorming educational content, organizing ideas, creating checklists, and turning rough notes into useful resources. - Floment – Managing projects, daily to-dos, progress updates, and community activity in one workspace. I like the idea of having the execution side alongside the community rather than completely separate. - Notion – Storing training resources, nutrition guides, SOPs, templates, and educational material. - Google Sheets – Simple tracking for client data, goals, measurements, and anything that needs a spreadsheet. - Loom – Recording quick explanations or walkthroughs instead of writing out the same instructions repeatedly. The biggest thing for me is keeping the system simple. The tools should support the coaching experience, not become another thing you have to manage. Especially when you're trying to help people stay consistent with training, nutrition, and habits, having a clear system for tracking progress can make a huge difference. For the coaches here, what tools are you currently using to manage your clients and keep them accountable?

🇦🇺☀️🌊
Hi everyone, I’m Jodie 👋🏼 Originally from the UK but living in Australia for the past 9 years- swapped grey skies for ocean swims and beach mornings (sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️) I’m a 38 year old mum of two boys (14 and 11) and started triathlon from zero fitness at 37 years old (I know I’m a little late to the party right?!) What began as a way to challenge myself has turned into something much bigger -rebuilding confidence, discipline, and showing my boys what stepping outside your comfort zone looks like. I’ve followed TC for a while now and I love his emphasis on long term development over quick fixes approach. His focus on fundamentals, consistency, and doing the simple things well has me hooked!! (oh- and the country music!!!!!) I’m currently training for my 2nd Half Marathon and joined this community because I want structure, accountability, and to surround myself with people who want to get better -not just talk about it. Excited to learn all about everyone and be part of it.

Finding true accountability when trying to build consistency used to feel nearly impossible until I fixed my daily setup. I started using Notion to map out my long term milestones while relying on project cards and public progress updates in Floment to keep me executing every single day. Flowie helps me review my tasks so I never stall out. Having that structured workspace makes all the difference.
