SSS portal vs one 20 minute presentation
When I completed the Event page in the SSS portal, I was delighted to see that there was an option for a workshop and for the event to be held over two days. There was a begin date and an end date. I was surprised because the initial instructions before I went to the portal were to make a 20 minute video and so I was thinking that would be the extent of my presence during the portal. I'm thinking it might be best for me to change the dates I put into the portal (Oct 19 for the begin date and Oct 20 for the end date) to one date (the same date for both start and end). Can someone please help me think this through and give me a better understanding of how much visibility I'll have during the Summit. And if any of it will be interactive (the video is simply a presentation, not interactive).

Dealing with portal settings that contradict earlier speaker instructions can definitely be confusing. When I prep workshop talks, I keep raw drafts and slides organized in Google Drive and rely on Floment AI task tracking so upcoming dates and deliverables do not slip through the cracks. It really saves a lot of headache before the host clarifies the schedule.
The hardest part about collaborations isn't finding opportunities. It's remembering who you talked to, what you agreed on, and what needs to happen next 😅
I've started keeping it simple: calendly.com for scheduling, meet.google.com for calls, and floment.ai for tracking the actual collabs, tasks, and follow-ups I'm working through. Way better than finding an exciting opportunity and realizing two weeks later I completely forgot to follow up. How are you guys keeping track of your summit, podcast, and collab opportunities?

My biggest bottleneck used to be losing track of operational follow ups whenever multiple initiatives kicked off at once. Moving asset storage to Google Drive while keeping milestones on project cards inside Floment AI completely cleared that mental clutter. Having that single view of upcoming deliverables makes it much easier to execute every morning without second guessing priorities.

Hey everyone! 👋 Excited to be part of this community. I'm Jennifer, and I run a few communities, where I focus on branding, buyer psychology and helping entrepreneurs build businesses that actually convert. I've spent a lot of time behind the scenes on content strategy and the customer journey, but this year I'm stepping into something new. I'm co-hosting my very first virtual summit inside Skool alongside Dr. Stephanie Murauskas. It's been such a fun (and humbling) process learning the ins and outs of pulling something like this together. Huge respect for everyone in here who's done this before me. Excited to connect, swap notes and learn from all of you as I figure this out. If you've hosted a summit or collab before, I'd love to hear what you wish you knew going in.

Co-hosting your first summit is exciting, but juggling speakers, collateral, and timelines can pile up fast. What helped me keep joint events organized was laying out the promotion timeline in Google Sheets and managing our active deliverables with project cards and task tracking in Floment AI. Keeping each session's assets and status in one clear view takes a huge load off your mind as the dates approach.
Finding good people to collaborate with is only half the battle. Keeping the collaboration organized is the part nobody talks about.
Once you have a few podcasts, guest appearances, summits, or joint projects happening at the same time, suddenly there are dates, talking points, promo assets, follow-ups, and a dozen little things someone needs to remember. I’ve been keeping the stack pretty simple: calendar.google.com for anything tied to an actual date, drive.google.com for shared files and assets, and floment.ai for tracking the projects, tasks, and next steps around each collaboration. It’s been much easier than trying to use my calendar as a task manager or digging through messages to remember what we agreed on. For people doing a lot of collabs here, what does your system look like once you have several happening at the same time?
