I've realized networking isn't really the hard part. Remembering who you met, what you talked about, and where you could actually help each other is 😅
I've started keeping it simple: linkedin.com - finding and staying connected with people notion.com - notes on conversations and useful resources I've also been testing floment.ai for opportunities that turn into actual projects, mostly so the next steps don't disappear after a good conversation. A small system beats having 200 connections you never speak to again. How do you guys keep valuable connections from going cold?

It's time for a Pivot
Fam - Real talk: what's been working needs an upgrade. We're sharpening the system to benefit you! Here's what's changing, starting now. Our weekly bird dog call has been replaced with: Monday / Wednesday / Friday, 12:00–4:00 PM. Outbound calls and follow-ups. 👉 Zoom: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/84280875564?pwd=6z6iggoJdI7Je5LTdoOyOmUp0gA1AA.1 Meeting ID: 842 8087 5564 Passcode: 923661 🆕 Office hours We've started office hours, in person and on Zoom. Monday / Wednesday / Friday, 5:00–6:00 PM. Bring your numbers. Bring the deal you're stuck on. 👉 Zoom: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83030097888?pwd=xj7o0JGsFYARf8ujbRcQ9hhfMdB8ER.1 Meeting ID: 830 3009 7888 Passcode: 243846 In person: 290 Carpenter Dr, Building 300, Sandy Springs, GA 📊 KPI sheet You should already have one going. If not, let's start one this week. Track these daily: - 5 Facebook groups joined (if the ones you have aren't getting any traction, join some new ones) - How much time are you spending engaging - How much time are you spending underwriting - How many deals are you sending and how you are sending them (for example Connector OS or email) 🧭 Diagnostic Want to know if you're on the right track? Take the diagnostic and send it to me ([email protected]) and Kyra ([email protected]). 👉 https://lane-finder.vercel.app This pivot is about one thing: more deals, faster. Show up for the block, show up for office hours, and the rest follows. If you have any questions, hit me up! Eddy

Dedicated calling blocks work great, but the real challenge is capturing next steps before you jump on the next call. I like taking rough notes in Zoom chat during sessions, then mapping out each prospect's next action on project cards in Floment AI right after the block ends. That keeps follow up details organized so promising leads do not disappear after a marathon dialing session. What is your go to method for documenting immediate follow ups while you dial?

😌It's quiet in here guys. Let's interact and connect with each other and help each other out. Any WINS for the week from anyone? What's everyone working on? Who needs help with anything? Let's start a conversation and liven up the group‼️💪

Focusing this week on auditing my pipeline and following up with existing property owners. I usually keep my contact lists in Google Drive and log my active outreach stages on a Floment project card so nothing gets dropped. Staying consistent with daily follow ups has made the biggest difference during slower stretches.
One thing I underestimated about networking: remembering the small details
Meeting more people isn’t necessarily the hard part. The hard part is remembering: Who was looking for an investor? Who mentioned they wanted to sell a business? Who has experience in a specific market? Who said they were looking for a particular opportunity? That’s where I started treating networking less like collecting contacts and more like building a system. My current setup is pretty simple: - LinkedIn – finding people and staying connected - Floment – keeping relationship-building tasks, opportunities, follow-ups, and projects organized - ChatGPT – helping me prepare questions, research industries, and organize rough notes - Google Calendar – making sure important follow-ups actually happen The interesting part is that you don’t always have to be the person with the money, deal, or expertise. Sometimes your value is simply remembering that Person A needs exactly what Person B can provide and making the introduction. That feels like the difference between having a big network and actually becoming useful to your network. How do you guys keep track of people, opportunities, and potential introductions without letting everything disappear into your contacts list?

Your lack of KPIs is why your business is sucking

Tracking pipeline numbers is everything when outreach consistency starts slipping. I usually map out core acquisition targets in Google Sheets and then manage the actual daily outreach steps through project cards on Floment. Flowie keeps my to do queue prioritized so high value seller follow ups never get dropped. It makes hitting daily targets much easier than getting lost in scattered notes.
