I jump between imposter syndrome and feeling stuck. This, I suppose, is because I’m frustrated with being confined (by leadership) at work, all while attempting to launch my own brand/business on the side.

@Bill Mason - Funny enough, I look at all the business owners I've met during my career and think, "if that guy can do it, I can certainly do it." However, doing it is such a lonely road. So, it's easy to return to the point where you begin to question if you're on the right path. Looking at some of the top coaches, it's easy to assume that they don't have these types of struggles only because they're surrounded by people who share the same passion(s). My network, however, is mostly people that don't understand the call of being an entrepreneur. They think it's too much work, or too much of a burden. To me, it's the freedom I need to be the person I long to become. To answer your question about what I am building, I have two businesses I am working toward launching, both in the FM (facility Management) industry. It’s a slow grind. But I cannot (yet) afford the financial requirements to delegate any of the work to an expert. So, I just wrestle with the program/product, until I think it’s right. This is where I am thankful of this community – people that understand the burden, the call, and the struggles that can fill the gap and be sounding boards to those trying to elevate to their next level.

Weak Leadership
Have any of you guys worked for companies with weak leadership? How did you navigate and did you abandon ship or stick it out? Thanks in advance.

Most certainly. I learned to document EVERYTHING! Make it a habit. At the end of the day (figuratively speaking) no one sides against someone that has a great account of what happened and when. Especially when dealing with leaders that say one thing but do another, or claim they’ve never done/said something when they had.
Hi there!
Hey guys! My name is Tony. I’m located in central North Carolina. I love Jesus, my wife, kids, and most things business operations. Shortly after high school, I found myself floating without any real ambition. That approach landed me homeless and struggling to get ahead. I recall a season where I was working 80 hours a week, between 2 jobs, riding a bike wherever I needed to, to help make ends meet - but it never worked. By the grace of my Lord, a kind elderly couple leased their attic to me, waiving the first few months rent. This gave me the platform to regroup and launch down the path the Lord had for me. I am now a leader in my industry; a loving husband and father; and a homeowner looking to branch out into building/scaling multiple businesses - all while working our goal to becoming debt free and helping others build businesses for themselves. I have some schooling in economics, but I’m mostly passionate about business operations; process building and management; and stewarding what we’ve need given - for our legacy, those we coach and lead, but most importantly in honor of our provider. While I’m here, I welcome any questions or ways to help serve those looking to launch their own business; cultivate a meaningful culture; or refine their operational processes. I look forward to meeting you all!
