Spotify playlisting
I am releasing a song on the 7th so I have been in contact with a few Spotify playlist curators. Some have accepted the submission but I would have to pay to get it on the playlist. I have already vetted the playlist and they are real with real streams. Do you think it's worth the investment? If you had any experience with this let me know what it is!

@Pressure MadeManu Spotify does have ads you have to be at a certain level to use them.

@Pressure MadeManu Good to know
Thought for the day
Do you think that any artist can really make a living out of his music, no matter what the alternative direction is ? I'm not talking about surviving but living, I'm waiting for your arguments ... Is there room for everybody ?

SXSW
Have you heard of the situation going on with SXSW? If so let me know what you think of it. Have you ever performed there, and what was your experience like?

Recently I've been looking into ads on twitter to preview my new song. I want to know if anyone has used the new beta for the keyword selection?

Q for Self taught audio engineers
Hi everyone! New member, here👋🏾 Just a little backstory. I've recorded several songs over the years however, to me, they've never sounded quite the way the should (standard, radio/stream ready). Which, as ive come to notice, has kept me in a "post & delete" cycle. This comes down to the mixing. I've watched a ton of YouTube how-to's on the topic, yet the information just hasn't...connected. it's my goal to be able to successfully mix my own music (affordability reasons) I have also looked into having someone mix for me, but they usually only accept 1 - 5 stems. That simply won't do for the way I record. Also, I use an outdated macbook garageband daw that refuses to update. SO, the question is, what are some of the most helpful tips you've gathered during your self-taught journey to mixing your own music?

The best way is to listen to songs you think sound good in the same settings you listen to yours. You will be able to hear the difference. Learn little by little.
