Been working at this one all day. Really proud of this one.

I decided to take a more dramatic change today and altered the lead in the beginning and added an arp afterwards. I like the way it plays off the arp in the second and third time it repeats. This is definitely different from the style of drum and bass I usually do, so I think recognizing that is allowing me to make changes and work on the song some more. We can't improve if we don't challenge ourselves.

You can really start to hear the idea coming through! I honestly feel as if I'm *slightly* behind; but the fact that I've been showing up every single day so far is the Win!

Not much has changed. In day 3 I changed the notes on one of the reece's in the verse but removed that change today and experimented with putting in an ARP during the 3rd and 4th parts. I'm struggling with this track for sure, but the learning from it is helping me a ton with my side project and I revisited an old track and worked it up some more. I think my overarching problem is that this track doesn't feel like me, so I'm struggling to connect with it from an artistic perspective.

Really starting to get somewhere with the main compositional structure - Just have to work on filling out the drum patterns and fleshing out the melody but it's all in a good place.
