We practiced a lot of passage mapping with essays on Freud and Jung and went into some points about psychoanalysis and takeaways from the daily habits of these two great thinkers. For HW, go through the remaining writings in the slides

The inaugural CARS Book Club has been recorded 🎉. It was super fun, I'll leave this pinned in the CARS Book Club tab and you should watch this recording first right before you pop in for any lives. We introduced Ragan, and linked up with British Tom (from Science Corner) and Jackie (Student Captain). We laid out the idea behind CARS Book Club and how it can help your MCAT studying in a very unconventional (and fun) way. Overall, we laid a great foundation for how we'll go about the readings and the idea behind clusters. Check out the attachments to see the syllabus and slides for cluster 1 so you can get up to speed and keep up if you're checking in for future lives or catching the recordings

For our first Science Corner, we went into Tom's background and how he got into his Chemistry PhD in Marine Science. Then we got into what he's up to now, fascinating stuff. Each week we'll talk through scientific papers that use MCAT concepts in the real world and make a real impact. Catch us live on Saturdays and I'll be posting recordings afterwards.
