CARDIOLIPIN: Why ss-31 and NAD+ are not interchangeable.
What is cardiolipin? Cardiolipin is a specialized phospholipid found primarily in the inner mitochondrial membrane. Think of it as part of the structural foundation that keeps the mitochondrial energy-producing machinery organized and functioning properly. It helps stabilize the proteins involved in the electron transport chain (ETC), supports formation of respiratory-chain supercomplexes, helps maintain mitochondrial membrane architecture, and is particularly important for Complex IV and ATP synthase function. When cardiolipin becomes oxidized or its organization deteriorates, mitochondrial efficiency can decline. Electron leakage and reactive oxygen species can increase, membrane structure becomes less stable, and ATP production may suffer. SS-31: cardiolipin is basically its home turf This is where SS-31 (elamipretide) becomes especially interesting. SS-31 is a mitochondria-targeting tetrapeptide with an affinity for cardiolipin in the inner mitochondrial membrane. Rather than functioning primarily as a conventional free-radical scavenger, its interaction with cardiolipin appears to influence the membrane environment and mitochondrial protein function. A simplified way to picture it is: SS-31 → cardiolipin interaction → improved inner-membrane organization/function → more efficient electron transport → improved mitochondrial bioenergetics This can help explain findings associated with SS-31 such as improved electron-transfer efficiency, reduced pathological ROS production, preservation of cristae structure, and improved ATP-generating capacity under mitochondrial stress. Importantly, saying SS-31 simply "repairs cardiolipin" is an oversimplification. It's more accurate to say that SS-31 interacts with cardiolipin and helps normalize cardiolipin-dependent mitochondrial membrane function. NAD+: important to mitochondria, but it doesn't target cardiolipin NAD+ works very differently. NAD+ is a metabolic coenzyme and electron carrier. During cellular metabolism:

@Kristina Marie There are protocols that stack mots c and nad+ on top of ss 31. What is the benefit of washout after ss31? Also I am hearing that 20mg daily (Jay Campbell) is life changing and everyone should try it. Thoughts?

@Kristina Marie That makes sense, thank you.
My Personal Update: Retatrutide Micro-Dosing + Tirzepatide Stack (Week 2)
I wanted to share a real-time update with you guys since I know a lot of you are curious about stacking + micro-dosing strategies: Current Protocol (for transparency)- - Retatrutide: 0.5 mg→ Wednesday + Friday - Tirzepatide: 7 mg→ Monday What I’m Noticing So Far- Appetite / Food Behavior: - Zero cravings… like NONE - I literally don’t want anything - I can’t finish a plate of food - Actually having to force myself to eat This is way stronger appetite suppression than what I’ve ever experienced before. Body Changes (Already ): - Rings are feeling looser - Pants are feeling looser This early tells me there’s likely: - Rapid inflammation drop - Possible water weight shift - Early fat loss starting Side Effect Check: - Leg fatigue was pretty intense three nights ago and carried into the next day. Better yesterday and today, but still noticeable. My Take So Far: This combo is VERY potent—even at micro-dose levels. What stands out most: - Appetite suppression is on another level - You will need to be intentional about eating enough - Your body is clearly shifting metabolically very quickly When you hit the point of: - No hunger - No cravings - Struggling to eat That’s not always a flex—it can become a problem if you’re under-fueling Things I’m personally paying attention to: - Getting enough protein - Staying hydrated - Electrolytes (especially with that leg fatigue) What I’m Watching Moving Forward: - Energy levels - Muscle retention - Continued side effects (especially fatigue) - How sustainable this feels I Want to Hear From You: - Anyone else experimenting with micro-dosing strategies? - Have you noticed stronger suppression with stacking vs solo? - Anyone experience leg fatigue like this? Drop your experience below let’s compare notes! Disclaimer: This is my personal experience only — not medical advice.Everyone responds differently, especially with compounds like these.

@Kristina Marie I was under impression glucagon unlocks at 4mg? Also Dr Trevor B in his last video mentioned stacking Reta and Trz is worse thing you can do.
Glp pills
Curious if anyone opted for the pills and had success

@Kristina Marie The vials are not pure product. They contain stabilizers like mannitol, sucrose, and trehalose, while the actual peptide typically represents only a small portion of the total material inside. US made epithalon 20mg no fillers vs China made epithalon 10mg with fillers in the pics below.
Reta Microdosing
I am currently on Reta 3mg and losing but I have noticed I am always nauseous. I was going to try microdosing and see if it stops. What does microdosing Reta look like?

@M S when you achieve desired weight go down either by 0.5 or 1mg and either stay on maintenance dose or get off it. Don’t just cut off.

@Kristina Marie clinical dara says split dose is bad idea due to half life. Smaller dose is recommended.
