Recommend A Diver Under $400
I’m looking to add a diver and keep it under $400. I’m open to solar or automatic but not quartz. Preferences- Minimal complications “Classic” design At least 200m water resistance I already have an Orient Kamasu Candidates- 1. Vaer DS4 42mm 2. Redwood Marine Engineer 3. Islander Watch Red October Thoughts?

You can get a Seiko Prospex (actual ISO 6425 rated) for under $400. The SRPE93 Turtle, or the SRPJ35 Tropical Turtle, or the SNE549 PADI Solar. The Citizen Promaster BN0150 or BN0151 are outstanding actual diver's watches as well. Any Seiko Turtle is my recommendation. If you want just a "diver style" watch, which is what most non diving collectors gravitate towards, any of the 3 you posted above are perfectly fine. If you want to dive with any of the 3 from above. The Redwood, without hesitation.
