'Miraculum' Course Now Available in Skool! 🎸
Hey guys, I've been noticing that my 'Miraculum' Lincoln Brewster play-through videos are getting view spikes sooner in the year every year. In the last few years, people started learning 'Miraculum' in October/November. This year, it's already started this month in September. Crazy! So I'm happy to announce that the 'Miraculum' Survival Kit course is officially available on Skool with even more affordable ways to get it because you're already a part of this group. Some of you have already purchased the course on my website. Because of this, you immediately have access to it over here on Skool! To jump in this course, you could either pay the normal price for the course or get in automatically if you upgrade your Skool subscription from monthly to annual. (I did the math, most of you would get the course for 60%+ off). You can find the course in the 'Classroom' tab. Appreciate you for being a part of this group! Lots of fun things planned. PS - I'm planning on scheduling a 'Miraculum' online hang sometime in November/December but I wanted to get the course in your hands early so that you have some time to make your way through the modules.

Literally one of my favourite songs! 😁
What is your funniest worship fail?
I’ll go first. When I was first starting off on the worship team back in high school, my friends and I would help out in the kids area every once in a while when they would have movie days (Veggie Tales). We would be in charge of making the popcorn and handing out the snacks to the kids. After the first music set before the message, I would go help out and make popcorn during the Pastor’s sermon. Unfortunately, I lost track of time and headed back to the main service to go back on stage for the closing song. The rest of the band was already on stage and I could see that the preacher was praying just like he normally did at the end of his messages. So I hurried on stage not thinking anything of it, and I put my guitar on and was ready to play the closing song. I then realized that the band had ALREADY FINISHED the closing song and that the pastor decided to come up and pray after to dismiss the congregation. My dad was serving on drums that weekend, and he was absolutely livid that I missed the closing song…That was the last time I had ever missed a closing song.

Worship leader told me it was the launch weekend for the church kids holiday club and fancy dress was encouraged. So I turned up for church dressed in a superman costume….. Turns out it was a prank and it was the following week….. It was then I learned to always pack a change of clothes! It was a long service…. 😂

@Joey Cobra they did! My licks felt faster and for some reason I was louder in the mix haha! It was before the livestream days I’m afraid so I can’t dig out the livestream, but I got a picture of it somewhere I’m sure 😂
What is your go-to OD pedals?
I use captures of a Klon Centaur, a Strymon Riverside, and an Ibanez Tube Screamer, but I’m interested in what other people are using.

I’ve always enjoyed and keep coming back to the 1981 DRV :)

@John Ramacciotti Totally! It’s a surprisingly versatile pedal. Does the RAT thing really well. I was watching an interview with Nuno Bettencourt talking about how he basically runs his RAT so that it’s almost indistinguishable when it’s on, except when you palm mute and then it’s really obvious with super tightening up the low end and adding ‘punch’. I figure if it works for him….. 😂
What first intrigued you to play the guitar?
For me, it was going to concerts as a kid and hearing the amount of power and different sounds that could come out of an electric guitar.

Watching Stu G play Investigate at a Delirious? gig way back in the day!
Practice!
How do you guys practice when you’re not preparing for church on Sunday? Anyone got formal routines? Go to exercises? Focussed development on particular techniques? Improv to backing tracks? Do you guys timetable or track practice at all? What does practice look like to you, and how do you develop your craft?
