Does God want to prosper you? Us? Has he rescued you from the punishment for sin? Has he rescued Me? If the answer is surely he has, then of course he longs to prosper us financially, but I can promise you that he won’t if it means sacrificing or doing away with the Spirit behind 2nd Corinthians 1:3&4. That said, 3 John 1:2 says “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, **even as thy soul prospereth**." The LORD is interested in the affairs of men and has loved us with an everlasting love.
