Update on Free Public Skool Group
My first pages of content on the new open Skool AI for Ministry group are now coming up in Google/other search results. It took a total of 22 days from when the group was created for any of the indexed pages to come up in first 2 pages of Google search results. Of course, ranking depends on where people are located, but it's working quicker than I expected. Skool obviously has a high authority rating with around 40 million visits a month. It holds a global rank around #1,200 and a U.S. Rank of #785 FYI- I'm not coming up in AI summaries yet, but I figured that would take time.

Really interesting @Dillon Smith. Agentic AI tools are doubling in capability roughly every year right now. Benchmarks back this up pretty clearly. If that holds for just 5 years, you're looking at 32x the current capability. That's a 3,100% improvement. Which is why I'm firmly in the camp that traditional SaaS as we know it is mostly done. Not dying slowly, not disrupted, done. When a really good tool today gets 32x better in 5 years, it doesn't improve your workflow. It replaces the entire category of software the workflow was built around.
Lead Magnet- Church Health Webapp
I'm still tweaking this, but I thought people here might find it interesting for a few reasons. Church Health Scorecard — Age Distribution Tool Most church health conversations focus on attendance numbers — are we growing or shrinking? This tool asks a different question: given the people who are already showing up, does your congregation have the generational balance to sustain itself into the future? A church can be growing and still be in serious age-related trouble. A smaller church with the right spread across generations may actually have a healthier outlook than a larger one missing an entire life stage. A few things that make it different. - Benchmarks are pulled from real research — Pew, the National Congregations Study, Lifeway, and the Church Answers Health Scorecard — not arbitrary targets - The age brackets match how churches actually think about ministry (nursery, student ministry, young adults, etc.) rather than generic demographic ranges - It adjusts context based on region, because a congregation skewing older means something very different in Sub-Saharan Africa than it does in North America - It's honest about what it can't tell you — it clearly separates generational health from overall growth so you don't mistake a good score for a clean bill of health - If your church is small, it flags that percentage-based scores become less reliable at low attendance numbers and explains why - It spits out a letter grade, a color-coded bracket breakdown, a written health report with specific next steps, and a shareable PDF — all designed for a leadership team conversation, not just personal curiosity Still a work in progress but wanted to share it now. Would love to hear what you think or what I'm missing?
Church Secret Shopper Checklist & Pricing?
I'm wrapping up my 52 Churches in 52 Weeks tour and have developed a Secret Church Shopper Checklist with 160 specific questions. The result is a pretty comprehensive report. I'm exploring the idea of also offering a "done for you" audit service by hiring locals who use my system and I analyze everything for accuracy. Has anyone had experience with church audits or mystery visitor services? I'm having trouble finding good information online, particularly around pricing. I want to make sure I position this service appropriately, so any insight into what churches are currently paying for this kind of audit would be really helpful.

@Ken Tallman This is the questionnaire a "secret attendee" could use to identify things for churches to work on/think about. It's based on what I've seen in my 44 church visits over the past 44 weeks. I still have a few weeks to go for 52. 🙏 I'm working on a course (to be released in a couple of weeks) that will pair these answers with a variety of strategies/AI prompts to help churches implement the improvements they want given their circumstances. (IE The prompts I've written allow you to post a budget you can handle to do XYZ) I'll also have a done for you way for churches to incorporate some of the content I create into their social media accounts/etc.
