The not-so-fun part
I jumped into this community just a week ago with both feet and participated enough to end up #2 on the weekly AND monthly leaderboards. But by Saturday I had looked around Skool enough to know what I wanted to do & how to do it. So I started writing and refining my stuff to start my own community. I've been pretty much silent for the last four days while I've been working 12 hour days on content. For me, this is the not-so-fun part. Here are some thoughts from behind the scenes: Make the best decisions you can and DO THE WORK. It takes a lot of focus to teach anything in a simple and brief way Take the time to make it CLEAR Don't waste time making it perfect...er. Wait for trusted feedback to refine AFTER you get it out there. Tomorrow (Or later today) I get to turn on the camera... finally! I can't wait to hear what y'all think and how you use what I've worked so hard to build to make gains in your own lives and businesses!
I was told to introduce myself
Hello all. I'm Todd Sivers. I took a 1 year sabbatical from a consulting business because I hated my clients and needed to change. That was 2019. Then Covid hit so I stayed home... for another 4 years! I have too much value for too many people to stay sedentary, plus I've gained like 30 pounds sitting on my A$$ so it's time to do some good again, but with different people. My business is about 4 hours old at the moment so the challenges are legion: Mostly clarity. I know the what & when. Not so sure of the where or how. My what is making people smarter and more capable, and I'm really good at that. Here, I'm looking to clarify some of the where and how.

@Jeffrey Buoncristiano In a word, no. That's the short answer. Here's a more complete one: I have three reasons for no. First, I hated what I did and how I did it to get where I am now. I wouldn't push that path on my proverbial worst enemy! (I can't think of any REAL enemies.) Second, mystery. I was just reminded yesterday from YOU in a video in the classroom that there's great power or value or something like that in a little mystery! Third, what I have or have achieved is irrelevant in the WIIFM world. I think the Ferrari, mansion, look at me era is long since effective and in my case would be very inauthentic. The value of more understated successes is rather dependent on the situation. In my case, all my testimonials are tainted by the context of Christianese. I was a church leader for a quarter century and what I have to show for all the blood, sweat, and tears invested in that world is, well, f'ing pitiful. I don't want any of that seeping into what I'm doing now. I developed what I do in the church but it is far more effective out here in the wild. So my problem (especially with a bold claim like making smart people smarter) is in credibility. Fortunately, I have two and a half decades of development behind me. I can give away (or sell cheap enough to overcome credibility concerns with guarantees, etc.) the foundation of what I do. It's transformational all on its own. Once someone experiences that, credibility will not be a concern. But there's plenty more depth where that came from. Lots more for people to invest in, and the payout for buyers is Immense! Okay, that was a really big answer to a not-so-big-question.
