One MAJOR problem I see way too much in the sales community is acting needy towards the prospect, especially right after they start getting positive responses. It was a problem for us while starting out, as we looked for potential clients and all our outreach efforts didn't immediately lead to loads of sales, and it hindered our progress towards getting to $10k/month. How you frame yourself in communications with your clients really matters; you need to remember that you're not trying to convince them to buy your product, but convince them that your product will help solve their problem and that is why they should invest in it. Being all fidgety and acting in a scarcity mindset will show off as desperation, which can only lead to disaster. Always frame every interaction with a prospect like you've ALREADY closed them, whether or not that actually ends up happening. Desperation will never lead to anything but the prospect being turned off towards you, similar to how it would be if you asked someone out on a date. Just keep that in mind next time you start conversing with prospects.
