I finally got my headshots done with Cristal Vancarson today and, she is magic! On her Skool community @Karin Crawford said, “Great photography. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 @𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴!! Genius!” and that pretty much sums it up! To put this in context, in the 52 years I have been on this earth, there has not ever been one photo of me that I am happy to post online. That's why up until now my current social profile image is an AI avatar of me. I thought I would pose a challenge with my dodgy squinty eye which seems to know exactly when a camera is pointed at at, and my elusive smile that normally looks like I'm constipated but she knows all the tricks in the book, and you just can’t NOT smile when in the presence of @Cristal Vancarson . So here is real, human me! I'm so pleased with my photos and she turned an event I was dreading doing and kept putting off into the highlight of my day. 🥰 Thank you so much for making it sooo fun, AND I even got a bonus portrait of me with my daughter that’s definitely going on the wall. When I said that to Cristal she said, “There is NO greater HONOR than for me to have a picture on the WALL in my client’s home.” You can tell she genuinely cares about the people she photographs. What I loved most is that this whole thing was done remotely from home, between my other calls, and was all wrapped up in around 40 minutes. No awkward standing around wondering what to do with your hands. Just a proper live session with someone who knows exactly how to bring the best out of people. She was also brilliant with my daughter. They say never work with kids or animals but Cristal orchestrated then both effortlessly! That is what Cristal does so well. She does not just take a photo. She catches a moment. She makes you relax. She makes it fun. And somehow she makes the whole thing feel easy, even when you thought you were going to hate every second of it.

With all of the notifications that are flying in from all directions, we have to stand out in a members notification feed. ⭐Everyday I find 10 comments that I can pin to the the top of posts. A member gets a different looking notification and will often head over to the post and see what post it was they got pinned! They also may leave a comment. Most importantly, you brought them back into your community! I like to look for people that are online, because they will see it right away! Happy pinning!

Welcome to the Sixes @Tim Adam!!!

Building a community is fun and exciting... but its also tough! We're climbing. Slowly, steadily — our discovery rank is moving in the right direction. But slowly is still slow, and building is still hard, and life doesn't pause while you try to figure it out. Some mornings it hits different. So I figured I'd show up here and just tell you who I am and how this whole thing started. Because the story is real, and real is what I've got today. I met my business partner @Mary Newton in a Skool community. Two women, both trying to figure out how to build something that mattered. How to help other women. How to create something that was actually needed — not just another thing on the internet, but something that could help someone skip a few of the painful steps we were walking through in real time. We started talking. Slowly. The way friendships actually build — not all at once, but in layers. And somewhere in those conversations we both realized we were building the same thing from two different angles. Same values. Same wounds. Same vision. So we decided to do it together. Someone to go through the hard parts with. Someone to divide the work with. Someone to build each other up on the mornings that feel exactly like this one. Two paths in. One for the mom, grabbing 45 minutes after bedtime. One for the woman over 50 who's decided it's not too late. Same destination. Same room. No catching up required. We're building it in the stolen hours of our days. Of our families. Of our lives. And we're building it for women who want to reclaim those hours — their worth, their voice, the version of themselves they've been setting aside for everyone else for years. @Adam McCollough reminded my this morning that - Nothing worthwhile is easy.
