When I published my first book, I had zero reviews, zero audience, and no guarantee that anyone would even read it. Today, seeing my books accumulate over 187,391 reviews is something I'm incredibly grateful for. But it didn't happen overnight. A few things made the biggest difference: • Writing books that readers genuinely wanted more of • Staying consistent and continuing to publish, even when results were slow. • Building a series that encouraged readers to come back for the next book. • Learning how to market my books and increase their visibility. • Focusing on the reader experience and delivering the best story I could. The biggest lesson? Reviews are usually the result of reaching readers consistently over time. The first few are often the hardest to get, but momentum builds as your audience grows. For authors who are still waiting for their first review or first breakthrough, keep going. Every successful author started at zero.
