@Jaymie Workman Haha! I deal with them every spring and fall that's why I don't like them now.
🕊️✨Welcome, April
I’m so glad to welcome @April Clifford into Cornerstone. You’ve come in at a really good moment—the Lydia free kit has just been added to the classroom, and we’ll be starting tomorrow as we move into May. This is a space for simple, creative engagement with Scripture—in your own way and at your own pace. The Ruth pages are also available in the Community Pages course if you’d like to begin there, or you can jump straight into Lydia with us 💜

🕊️✨ Welcome, Tina
I’m really glad to welcome @Tina Brooks into Cornerstone. There’s something really lovely about the mix of creativity and growing in confidence that she shared—that fits right into the heart of what we’re building here. This is a place for simple, creative engagement with Scripture, in your own way and at your own pace. The Ruth pages are already available in the Community Pages course if you’d like something to begin with, and I’ll be releasing the Acts 16 / Lydia pages in the next few days as we move into May 🩵 You’re very welcome here.

Down by the river — Acts 16
Lydia’s story is found in Acts 16. Have you read it before, or will this be your first time sitting with it? I always love seeing what stands out to different people 🤍

@Jaymie Workman I love Lydia because she shows what it looks like to quietly pursue God with integrity long before anyone is watching. She was already seeking Him, already living faithfully, already showing up with a sincere heart. And when Paul shared the gospel, Scripture says the Lord opened her heart — and she responded immediately with faith, hospitality, and generosity. Her home even became a place where believers gathered and were strengthened. What inspires me most is her openness and her willingness to learn, the steady influence she carried, and the way she simply offered what she had for God’s glory. She didn’t try to imitate anyone else or force anything. She just allowed God to work through her life. And when I look at Lydia, it challenges me personally. I want to keep my heart soft and responsive to God, to stay open to His voice, to use my gifts and my home to encourage others, and to let my faith show up in the everyday moments. Lydia reminds me that quiet, consistent obedience matters — and that God can use an ordinary woman in extraordinary ways when her heart is willing.

How is your week so far?
The last 36 hours have been a little hectic here… lots of rocking, lots of holding, and very little time where both hands were free. I spent what felt like hours yesterday settling the sleepy baby over and over again—and today hasn’t been much quieter. But in the small in-between moments, I’ve been slowly working on the Lydia kits… a little here, a little there. It’s not fast or polished, but it feels right for this season of life… building something meaningful in the middle of it all.

I haven't been feeling well so I've been taking it easy and giving myself grace. Is your little one sick?

I am chosen, loved, and made new in Christ. My worth is anchored in Him alone, and His grace shapes who I am becoming.
