The Superpower Blueprint
The Setup (1 Minute) 1. Identify Your Strength: Quickly think of one of your strongest positive character traits (e.g., curiosity, kindness, humor, perseverance, love of learning, honesty). Choose the one you feel most authentically you. 2. Define the Action: Think of a specific, recent time (in the last week or two) when you used this strength effectively to achieve a small goal, help someone, or overcome a minor challenge. The Creation (3 Minutes) On a piece of paper, in a notebook, or in a document: 1. Give Your Strength a Name/Image: Instead of "kindness," maybe it's "The Empathy Engine" or "The Radiant Bridge." If it were an image, what would it look like? (e.g., a sturdy oak tree for perseverance, a bright lightbulb for curiosity). 2. Draw/Sketch/Describe the Scene: In 3 minutes, create a quick visual or written sketch of the specific scene you recalled in Step 2 of the setup. The Wrap-Up (1 Minute) Stop creating! Look at what you've made. 🤔 Reflection Question Based on your creative piece, answer this single question: What is one small, deliberate action you can take in the next 24 hours to use this Superpower in a brand new context, ensuring a moment of joy or accomplishment? (e.g., If your strength is Humor, and you used it to cheer up a friend, could you now use it to brighten up a tedious work email?)

@Monica Gerscht absolutely!
Breathe
This morning I walked my daughter to school. It doesn't happen as much as it used to since she usually walks with friends. On the way we had a great conversation. I started reliving my walks to high school with firends decades ago and relaying how we used to shake trees to release the frost. My daughter was more focused on the tightening of her face due to the cold and I became aware of this for myself. I welcomed the cold, the tightening of my face, how this moment with my daughter made it all worth it. It was the highlight of my day. In the past it would have faded into the business of life, but now I am more aware of the "textures' in my day to day and how they flow together

The Creative Momentum Machine
When you finally hit that flow state, the energy is electric. This week’s theme is about learning how to harness that feeling of creative momentum. It’s not about waiting for inspiration to strike; it’s about recognizing that every small win—every client smile, every new community member, every finished project—is fuel. You don't have to restart the engine every day. You just have to lean into the existing speed and let one small, intentional success power your next massive action. 5-Minute Moment: Think about a small win you had in the last two weeks (it could be finishing a chore, having a great conversation, or anything that gave you a little boost of energy). Your Challenge: Comment that small win. Now, identify the very next, smallest step you need to take on your biggest current goal (the workshop, the installation, a difficult email). Use the energy from the "small win" to propel you through that next tiny step. You're not starting from scratch; you’re using found momentum.

Today I worked outside in the yard for the first time in weeks getting the final leaves off the yard and road before the snow flys. It felt great to be active again. I'm slowly increasing my physical activity back to what once was normal and looking to exceed or maintain the level of health I had.
