My Sunday Afternoon Thougts…
You Don't Have Problems. You Have Stories. I heard something recently that really made me stop and think: "You don't have problems. You have stories." The quality of your life is often determined by the quality of the conversations you have with yourself. Think about some of the stories people carry: "I'm not good enough." "I'm not worthy." "Nobody loves me." "I'm not smart enough." "I'm always going to struggle." The interesting thing is that these stories are rarely facts. They're interpretations. Yet because we believe them, we start looking for evidence to prove them right. We notice every failure. We magnify every setback. We dismiss every success. Over time, the story becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. We call it self-sabotage. But perhaps it's simply a person acting in alignment with the identity they have accepted as true. You cannot consistently produce results that are out of alignment with your wiring. You will always gravitate back to who you believe you are. This is why lasting change is not about trying harder. It's about becoming different. Whether the challenge is your health, your finances, your relationships, your confidence, or your happiness, the question is not: "How do I get rid of this problem?" The question is: "Who do I need to become so that this is no longer a problem in my life?" That shift changes everything. Because it moves you from being a victim of your circumstances to becoming the creator of your future. Instead of saying: "This is just the way I am." You begin asking: "What if I've simply been living inside an old story?" We are creative beings. We have the ability to rewrite the stories we tell ourselves. To change our identity. To create different actions. To produce different results. And perhaps that is where real transformation begins. 👇 I'd love to hear from you: What is one story about yourself that you've been believing for far too long? And what is the new story you are choosing to live instead?
The story I has shaped me is whatever I set myself to do it will not come to fruitition. It has become so difficult for me to believe otherwise and that has led me to not take myself serious and rather put more effort in assisting others to succeed. As a result I feel accomplished by working my socks off to usher others into their successes. I have been left many times, resenting myself for not being able to break this barrier of 'not worthy of succeess'. Now I am making 1 conscious decision a day that makes uncomfortable, something that will see its success.
Your Life Is The Receipt Of Your Actions.
You cannot complain about the life you have when you keep avoiding the work required to change it. You say you want confidence… but you keep breaking promises to yourself. You say you want a better body… but your habits are still controlled by emotion, comfort, and excuses. You say you want peace… but you keep feeding the behaviors that are destroying you. At some point, you have to stop blaming: – your past – your circumstances – your lack of motivation – other people And face the truth: Your current life is the receipt for your repeated decisions. The hardest part of transformation is realizing that nobody is coming to save you. Not motivation. Not another Monday. Not another course. Not another “fresh start.” Your future changes the moment your standards change. Because every action is shaping your identity. And eventually… your identity becomes your life. I AM becoming someone I can rely on. 🔥
I quote "You cannot complain about the life you have when you keep avoiding the work required to change it." This speakes directly to how I found complaining as an easy way out. It felt good to have someone as the causer of my problems instead of taking responsibility and be accountable for the consequences of my choices. Now it feels different that I am taking action, even small. I feel alive and in connection with who I AM.
What’s One Version of Yourself You Never Want to Become Again?
Most people are not actually struggling with motivation. They are struggling with identity conflict. Part of them wants growth. Another part is still emotionally attached to the old version of themselves. That’s why: • You procrastinate on the thing you say matters • You self-sabotage after progress • You keep restarting instead of building momentum • You wait to “feel ready” before changing Your habits will always follow your identity. So here’s the real question: 👉 What identity are you finally ready to let go of? Read other people’s answers. You’ll realize you’re not alone. 🔥
What’s One Version of Yourself You Never Want to Become Again?
Old self that always wants the approval of the masses before feeling ok to do something for me. The thinking "what will people say?" has paralysed and still birthed most of my ambitious projects. Instaed I am choosing to take an uncomfotable small step each day towards my mission. My mission becomes my identity.
@Tamzyn Wegrostek I resonate with this. What I am adding is the compassion to my old self and thank it for serving me in the past. That is where I was getting stuck, seeing my old self as bad and that I must ruthlessly cut it off and see as if it should have never existed. I am grateful of this gift you have given me.🙏🏿

I AM TRIBE (Official Theme Song)
Before the world tells me who I am, I decide first. Before my past speaks, I speak louder. Before comfort calls my name, I remember my standards. I am not here to try. I am not here to wish. I am not here to talk about change. I am here to become. 84 days. 84 votes. One identity. I am. I am. I woke up in the silence, No noise, no screen, no escape. Just breathing in my body, And the promise I made. I have met the old me, I know how he lies. He hides in excuses, And waits for compromise. But not today. Not this time. I draw the line. I don’t move when I feel ready, I move because I said I would. I don’t wait for motivation, I build what they never understood. Every breath is a vote. Every rep is a vote. Every choice when no one sees me, That is where I grow. Every step is a standard. Every day is a sign. I am not chasing a new life, I am becoming mine. [Chorus] I am the promise I made! I am the fire I face! I am the one who won't break! I am becoming today! I am the voice in the storm! I am the reason I'm born! I am not who I was before! I am becoming more! I am... becoming more! I train when the sky is heavy. I walk when the road is cold. I choose the hard thing daily, Because comfort made me old. I give when nobody sees it. I stand when others fall. I show up for my people, Because this is bigger than all. This is not a challenge! This is not a game! This is the day I stop betraying The person with my name! No alcohol for escape. No cheat meal for my pain. No hiding in the old ways. No feeding the same shame. I don't need perfect, I need true. I don't need easy, I need proof. Every morning I remember. Every evening I recover. Every act of kindness tells me I was born to lift another. Every post is accountability. Every picture shows the climb. Every day I keep my word, I take my power back in time! [Chorus] I am the promise I made! I am the fire I face! I am the one who won't break! I am becoming today! I am the strength in my chest! I am the choice when I'm tested!
I train when the sky is heavy. I walk when the road is cold. I choose the hard thing daily, Because comfort made me old. This landed powerfully in me, a new mantra for me.
