To Deal, or Not to Deal… 😂
To deal, or not to deal, That is the question. Whether ’tis wiser to chase that lead, Or sit upon the couch and call it “strategy.” To follow up, to negotiate, Perhaps to close aye, there’s the dream! But then the seller says, Let me think about it… And suddenly, The investor begins thinking about retirement. 😂 Yet still we rise, We make the call, We send the offer, We follow up again. For fortune favors not the one who waits, But the one who actually takes action. So grab thy phone, Find thy lead, And make thy move. For the greatest tragedy in real estate Is not a deal that fell apart… It’s the deal you never pursued. 🏠😂 What’s the funniest excuse you’ve ever heard from a seller?

Why I Don’t Worry About Competition
I’m not worried about competition. I’ve learned that competition becomes a distraction when you lose sight of your mission, purpose, and own lane. The moment you stop comparing your journey to someone else’s, you can focus on becoming better than who you were yesterday. That mindset has played a big role in my real-estate journey. Before I got into real estate, I focused on building multiple streams of income and cash flow. Looking back, I’m grateful I took that step early because having multiple sources of cash flow gave me more flexibility and made my real-estate journey much easier to navigate. My advice to anyone working a 9–5 who wants to venture into real estate: don’t feel like you have to jump overnight. Start building your financial foundation and additional cash-flow streams while you're still working. Then you can enter real estate with more flexibility, options, and confidence. You don’t have to race someone else. Master your lane. Build your own path. Stay focused on your mission. When you stop looking sideways, you have a lot more energy to move forward. What’s one thing you’re currently building outside of your main source of income?

At 37, I’m More Focused on Building Options Than Chasing a Perfect Life.
One thing my journey into real estate has taught me is that success isn't only about closing deals or reaching a certain number. For me, it has always been about what those things can create: More freedom. More choices. More time with family. And the ability to build a future on my own terms. My journey didn't start with real estate alone. Before getting into property, I explored other income streams and learned lessons from each one. Those experiences eventually helped shape the way I approached real estate and business. It hasn't always been easy. There have been mistakes, slow periods, things that didn't work, and plenty of lessons along the way. But I'm grateful for the journey because every experience has helped me become more intentional about what I'm building. I also believe everyone's version of success looks different. For one person, it might be owning their first investment property. For another, it might be replacing their job income. For someone else, it might simply be having more time with the people they love. So I'm curious when you think about the life you're building through real estate, what does success actually look like for you?
