@Jesse Peter yeah you do have to pay for these services. There are some out there that apparently only charge you once your song has been placed on a good playlist. Recordlabel will charge you upfront for a certain amount of Promotional credits, and then you use these credits to use their Playlist IQ service which basically does all the work for you. They are seeing some incredible results. Smashhaus is actually more like a marketplace where they list 'Jobs' which connects you with industry professionals and placements who are looking for certain songs/sounds/genres etc. My skillset is actually in buying shares in the royalties that are being earned by artists with popular songs. Say your song is reliably earning you $50k per year. Well you can actually "sell" a portion of "next years" $50k. So you get the money Upfront, and I get your royalties each month for the next 12 months.. Something like that. I do it all the time. There's a lot of math in it. It is so that you can get a quick cash injection now, so you can get into the studio and record another song, while waiting for your previous song to make some money.

@Jesse Peter No no, that was just an example. I am mainly playing in the fractional share trading space, which is generally buying and selling shares which are under $100. Mostly under $20 in fact. You can buy shares for even less than $1!
Scaling Without Ruin
Managing $1,000 is different than managing $100,000. More money increases the pressure to deploy, which leads to bad deals. - 💡 Surprise Fact: Scaling your capital too early, before your discipline is dialed in, destroys portfolios. 🗣️ Discussion: Are you currently scaling up, or strictly holding?

Auditability Is Power
If you can’t easily explain your portfolio to an accountant, it’s too weak or too complex. - 💡 Surprise Fact: Strong, simple mathematical frameworks easily survive skepticism. 🗣️ Question: Could you explain your royalty strategy to a 10-year-old?

Why Documentation Matters
Memory lies. Paper doesn’t. If you don't write down why you bought an asset on the day you bought it, you won't know if your thesis was correct 3 years later. - 💡 Surprise Fact: Undocumented portfolios cannot be improved because you don't know what broken logic needs fixing. 🗣️ Action: Open your Master Sheet and add a "Why I Bought It" column right now.

Governance Protects You
Rules save you from yourself. If your rule is "never buy an asset with an xMultiple over 10," you obey it, even if you love the artist. - 💡 Surprise Fact: Decision fatigue causes far worse investments than outright ignorance. Stick to the Master Sheet. 🗣️ Discussion: What is the #1 unbreakable rule in your portfolio?
