Why I walked away from my £100k business
Anyone else ever built something "successful" that made you want to stay in bed forever? Just me? I hit £100k in my first business and felt absolutely awful. It was really affecting my life and happiness day to day. So i finally packed it in and started fresh. It was honestly the best thing I ever did. Now I'm up at 5am actually wanting to work because i love what i do. If you're doing well on paper but feel rubbish inside, maybe it's not you that's the problem. Maybe you're just unaligned to your life and business. In this weeks video i go through the whole story with you and what i'm doing now to align my life and business. https://youtu.be/l_iluGBBeDE

@Zoe McKenna I’m sure it will.
5am club?
I woke up this morning at 5am. It’s been a while since I got up that early (as we are in the school holidays) But I feel like a new woman. It wasn’t easy at first, but when I got that 3 hours to myself - I realised how much I loved the 5am club. It was silent. peaceful. calm. I looked out the window and seen the sun rising. But the best part was, I completed my content system board. I wrote one full YouTube script and 7 instagram scripts. I felt organised, clear and ready to take on the world. I’m starting my new content strategy in one week, I’m so excited to share all the BTS with you all. So I thought I would check in with everyone here so far. What are you struggling with the most right now? What is one thing that would make everything feel easier? Z x P.s if your in the 5am club let me know, if your not yet - try it and let me know what you think?

I tried it once and it really worked very well, and like you I felt good for starting the day so productively. Then my kids for some reason must have detected it and started getting up at 5:30.
I had a revolution I want to share.
I have been in business for 12 years now. I have been creating content for about 8. I tried to start my online business in 2020 and struggled for 5 years to find my niche. But one thing just clicked for me (yesterday) I am going to be going full time as a content creator from August - with the intention of building a business around it. I have all the skills and knowledge to do so but one thing held me back… MY NICHE. To grow with socials you need to hone in on your content topics. You need to speak to specific people with specific problems - which isn’t easy to get your head around. But my aha moment was when I realised my “nice” is not my “method”. So if you are struggling to find your topics, ask yourself “what is the actual outcome that people want” not “what do I teach”. My niche is: help healing women reconnect with their voice and create content that feels true - so they can grow a business with ease and authenticity. Content & Self Healing/Wellness My method blends self-healing, identity work, and aligned content creation through my Re-align, Reconnect, Create framework. Now I want you to do this exercise for yourself. Use the free aligned creator guide gpt to get you started. Comment below your niche and method for accountability ☺️

this is cool. I've found the same in terms of niche. I used to think I would combine two previous careers (Marketing and Fitness) so I could speak to the audience. But the truth is you don't have to choose an industry. It could be a type of person, a stage people are at in their lives, or just something you enjoy. Base it around the framework (as you have done) - How can I help this person move forward (link together a series of wins) then they will love you for it.
Introduce yourself?
Hey @everyone Welcome to this group. There are lots of new exciting things coming to this community. But while we gather our new members and get ready for our upcoming sessions - I would love for you to introduce yourself and write why you want to be part of this community? 👇

@Zoe McKenna - Haha. Always up for a giggle. I'm up to my tenth gig now and in the Hampshire Comedian of the Year Semis! So taking it more seriously at the moment. It's great for writing too when it comes to copy.
