Its bleak. Even when they try to dress it up as "humanism."
August Apologetics Fellowship Event!
We are trying something new this month - instead of a weeknight, our August event will be held on a Saturday morning! Below are the event details: Join us as we explore one of the most important theological divides in the world today — the difference between the Christian doctrine of the Trinity and the Islamic doctrine of Tawhid. We'll examine where these two faiths overlap in language, where they radically diverge in substance, and why the identity of God matters for the Gospel itself. Whether you're looking to sharpen your own understanding or equip yourself for thoughtful conversations with Muslim friends and neighbors, this will be a great time of fellowship and learning! Saturday, August 29th, 2026 Doors Open 8:30am, presentation at 9:00am CitiPointe Church 7533 Lords Chapel Dr Nashville, TN 37211
Tomorrow Night!
Nashville folks - come out in person to hear a 1:1 pointed discussion been Aaron Yost and our Muslim guest focusing on the person of Jesus. 6:00pm at Citipointe Church!

Good Frank Turek Exchange
I listened to this video on my drive in to work this morning. I think it's a good example of what we call "unbridled skepticism." To such a degree she wasn't even listening to Frank's answers to her objections. Her goal is to avoid making any sound judgements based on what's presented and instead her desire is to dwell in the skepticism. You can see this best demonstrated when Frank asks her what her explanation would be regarding some historical evidence, and she just refuses to give an answer. I also picked up that it sounds like Frank is starting to work some transcendental points into his argument (laws of logic, mathematics, etc). "Heaven? No Thanks..." Atheist Student Challenges Frank
What would you say? How would you answer?
Picture this. You are taking a walk in a park and run into a young college student. You two strike up a conversation and the topic quickly turns spiritual. The student tells you they are agnostic but also say they are spiritual- they're just not sure who God is but they would like to know what you think. The floor is yours, what would be your response? (Also you don't have much time to talk)

I'd point the discussion to Jesus. Here's what I would say... "I can tell that you are spiritual. Just by observing the world around us, there is such a necessity for something more than the material and that's hard to ignore. I think we have agreement there! Have you thought much about the person of Jesus? I mean like...who was he REALLY? He was so impactful that everyone and their worldview has to do something with him. They have to find a place for Jesus somewhere. Many will say he was just a good moral teacher, Islam says he was a prophet but never crucified, etc. Why don't we meet for coffee, and we can talk about some of the core things that Jesus taught? We can also look at the resurrection. If he really did rise from the dead, as he predicted, that's a pretty good reason to take his teachings about God seriously."
