Breakdown: how the launch film was made
Lesson 4.4 from the AI video lab course. Here's the full transcript of the video. Transcript This is how we made Behind every local face, a yes. It started with a brief, the same kind we teach in this community. One summer ad for a sample brand, Lumo, running in three markets. Cast from verified talent who'd agreed to appear. Dean in the UK, Bree in the USA, Kodcharos in Thailand. We built the hero ad once. Same cafe, same light, same line. Then we swapped the face per market, and localised the line on screen. The interface you see, the brief, the casting, the licence, was designed and animated as motion graphics around the footage. The footage itself was generated with Seedance 2.5. Every face in that film is a real person who said yes. That's the whole point. Watch the video lesson in the Classroom: AI video lab, Breakdown: how the launch film was made. Real people. Building one ad in five markets
Lesson 4.3 from the AI video lab course. Here's the full transcript of the video. Transcript Here's how to turn one ad into five local versions without losing control. Lock the hero edit first. Timing, music, supers. Don't touch it again. Then cast one verified local face per market. Swap. Then localise the voice and the on-screen text. Have a native speaker check every market. Machine translation misses tone. And put the licence reference in your file names, so every version traces back to a yes. Five markets. One edit. Five yeses on record. Face swap and lip sync done cleanly
Lesson 4.2 from the AI video lab course. Here's the full transcript of the video. Transcript A clean swap starts before you swap anything. Use source footage with even light and a clear view of the face. Hard shadows and heavy motion blur cause most of the problems. Use the licensed 4K headshots as your references. They're part of the licence for exactly this reason. After the swap, check every shot. Watch three places: the eyes, the teeth and the hairline. That's where drift shows up first. If a line changes language, re-run lip sync for that line. Don't trust the original mouth movement. And keep every output inside the licence: its markets and its variations. Count your assets. Clean source, licensed references, checked shots. Watch the video lesson in the Classroom: AI video lab, Face swap and lip sync done cleanly. Real people. Real consent.

Shooting coverage with Seedance for an edit
Lesson 4.1 from the AI video lab course. Here's the full transcript of the video. Transcript The biggest mistake in AI video is generating one beautiful shot and trying to build an ad around it. Shoot coverage instead, like a real crew. For every moment, generate a wide, a mid and a close-up, then a few cutaways: hands, the phone, the room. Keep wardrobe, lighting and lens consistent across every prompt, so the shots cut together. Then cut it like footage. Your editor will thank you. One rule before you start. Only use a person's references when you hold a licence for them, and only inside that licence. Coverage first, then cut. Next lesson: clean face swaps and lip sync. Provenance and disclosure on every asset
Lesson 3.5 from the AI ad localisation course. Here's the full transcript of the video. Transcript Two things keep an AI ad live and safe. Provenance and disclosure. Provenance is your proof. The licence and the provenance record for every person, in every asset. Keep them filed with the asset itself. That's what lets your legal and brand safety teams sign off fast, instead of chasing paperwork. Disclosure is the label the viewer sees. Meta, TikTok and YouTube all have disclosure settings for realistic AI people. Use them every time. Rules change often, so check each platform before every launch. A licensed, disclosed asset is one that stays live. Watch the video lesson in the Classroom: AI ad localisation, Provenance and disclosure on every asset. Real people. Real consent.
